But I'm seeing something unusual about the Carriage plaque, and the word Leatherware on the creed isn't exactly centered under Coach. I'm also wondering about the paperwork, and the style number and date code - do they make sense together? I'll have to do some checking.

I might not have much of a reputation, but I will stake EVERY bit I do have and say that bag is fake. What in the world??? The graffitti was on Poppy bags, like the Spotlight. And it was not stitched either, it was a gold foil print. I seriously doubt Coach would take a Mad bag and put that all over it, too. I have never seen a leather Mad Audrey bag with any kind of deco on it, other than the Embroidered Audrey. Plus, the hardware looks very thin and cheap, and the creed looks paper thin and sloppy. I am 99.999999 sure that is fake.

ETA: What an insult to my absolute favorite bag...I am so angered with this! :censor:

Unfortunately, fakes makers don't care who they insult - witness the hideously ugly carp they make that should insult the taste and intelligence of any experienced Coach lover. But people buy their garbage anyway - don't ask me why. I've said more than once after seeing some horrible tacky POS with 15 bids on it that it would serve the "winning" bidder right if we DIDN'T report it since anyone with such bad taste and judgement deserved to be seen carrying that ugly rag.

And while I agree with you that almost everything about that bag is questionable, everyone has to make their own personal decision about what they report and what they don't. I like to be absolutely sure.

(Hey, I may sleep on it and report it tomorrow morning anyway - who knows?) :graucho:

I've fallen in love with the new "rocker style" and plan on getting as many as the budget will allow -

But, on the hinky side - here's one that I can't seem to find anywhere but this listing - not inside Coach FP stores, outlets or Coach's website.

Pictures are fairly clear, except for the creed, of course!

In fact, the listing you're asking about is (according to the creed) style 16285. That style is supposed to be a leather bag. Yet the listing is NOT leather.
