I posted earlier about a Coach Hampton bag I purchased on ebay in 2004. I took pics~the date is wrong, it's my dd's camera and I don't know how to set it after charging the battery.

I apologize for the hugeness of the photos, photobucket and I aren't getting along.

Authentic and very nice.

3197lilla - Looks fine
gval1064 - Looks fine
carrieann251983 - Looks fine but several of carrieann251983's listing steal copyrighted Coach stock photos. Clearly the seller owns a camera and takes good pictures. There's no reason for her to also use stock photos.
firecrackers3000 - Probably okay but more pictures and closer pictures would help
gsaver12 - Probably okay but a better picture of the creed would help
simba9972 - Looks okay

Thanks!!

I thought it was unusual that Coach would use this fabric that has been used for the Sophia for both these styles too. Thanks

Unfortunately the high-volume and high-Feedback sellers often get breaks from Ebay that other sellers don't. And it takes a lot more reports to get rid of their listings. That seller does high numbers, so it's going to take more than 2 or 3 reports to take it down, and the seller bbigalow will probably re-list his fakes anyway because Ebay doesn't bother to check, it's up to the unpaid help like us to do it.

Something to remember too is that Ebay only allows one report per day against a seller from each poster. Anyone who gets frustrated and sends in a dozen reports of the same fake listing one after the other is wasting their time because only one report counts, the rest just pull your report farther back in line.

Thanks for this info. I have reported multiple listings of the same seller on the same day. I didn't know I was wasting my time. Sometimes, I add a note that says I think the seller has multiple fake listings. Do you think this works? Will they look at all a seller's listings if only one is reported? Also, does it hurt my ebay status if I report a lot of items?

Please wait for other opinions on this but I don't think either is authentic and I'd call them "scary."

#1: Lining fabric appears to be wrong material, the puffiness of the creed appears to be incorrect and the fabric used for 15275 should not be this pattern but rather, regular op art as in this sold listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-OP-ART-AL...074?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item19c46a7352

#2: Style 16285 is a leather bag. This listing is for a fabric bag and the creed describes a fabric bag.

I don't recommend seller tennisaznboi.

ETA: On further research, I came up with more fakes from tennisaznboi.

This sold item is a leather bag: http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTH-COACH-1632...765?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item2c5be22ead

But that style number (16325) isn't supposed to be a leather bag.

The seller was really confused on the last item that you have referenced.

LOL! I didn't notice all the different style numbers referenced in that last listing ( http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTH-COACH-1632...765?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item2c5be22ead ) but I'm still fairly comfortable that the bag is fake.

Note that the creed text states that it's a fabric bag (finest materials and leather) yet the bag is leather and the text should read as leather.

Based on the date code of that bag, being a 2010 bag, there should be some other listings (if it's authentic) yet the only references I can find when searching for 16352 are on sites that sell fakes.

(Additionally, there's another problem "item" in one of the pictures that jumped out at me when I saw the listing.)

ETA: She also sold another of that bag: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...5&si=wKkqLEBC63meu1lo2EBvrQOJudI%3D&viewitem=

Has anyone ever seen this style?

Status??? Ebay members who aren't high volume buyers or sellers have NO status, so you can't hurt what you don't have. Sad but true. We're cows whose only reason for existence is to be milked of every ounce of money we have.

Next - if you only report one item number that's all they'll look at and that's all they're supposed to remove. You can report up to 10 listings per seller in each report box though unless Ebay is using different report boxes for different users, which they probably do. You can report a THOUSAND listings by the same seller in one day, you just can't report the SAME item listing over and over.

And never tell them "you THINK something's fake". If you're not positive, you can't report. If YOU don't know if something's fake, the robots in wheatever country Ebay is handling reports out of won't know either.

And of course you should never report something unless you're absolutely sure, and it's been verified by one of the experts. Always keep in mind what I posted in the most recent Fakes List:
"...remember, just because a Coach item seems to have the right style number, or looks just like the picture from Coach's website, or the C's line up correctly, OR IT HAS YKK ZIPPERS, that DOESN"T mean it's genuine.

And just because you haven't seen it before, or can't find it on Google, or don't like it, or think that "Coach couldn't possibly have made something that ugly" doesn't mean it's fake."
