According the creed, it is from 2008, which is the correct year for this style.
I would try to find another listing of the same style and see if the wording on the creed is the same.

There aren't any on Ebay but there have been a few posts here about the style and one post had links to a photo in a PB album - same month, year and plant:

I'd say it's genuine.

Even with more photos we may not be able to give a yes or no answer on the wallet - like BeenBurned said, wallets are tricky and it's easier to spot a fake by how it feels than by how it photographs.

If you bid, pay with a major credit card so if it doesn't feel right when you receive it and the seller won't refund, you can have your credit card company cancel the charge.

read the numbers right as they may be really faded. What do you gals think?

I just got a clear shot of the numbers clicking onto the picture. It does read 0170-022.

I don't see any problems with it either. Your "fellow Ebayer" doesn't know squat about classic and vintage Coach. Maybe he/she ought to stop reading all those useless "authenticity guides".
