Oh, and at least one bag - 7048 - in this 2004 (?) Patchwork line has Sig lining. In fact, one of the few Rules I haven't found any exceptions for yet is the Daria/Hyacinth Rule that "Coach has never made bags in Korea."

The creed is black on black and difficult to photo. It says
'This is a Couch product. It was handcrafted in Mexico from a custom-developed material. Trimmed with our classic gloved-tanned leather. This high-quality, durable fabric has been treated to withstand water and dirt."
There is also a circle within a circle slightly below and to the right of the Coach name on the creed.
Thanks.
Thank you! It's comments like your's that make the time and work worthwhile.I am sorry for the hijack, but I just wanted to take a moment...and tell our lovely Coach authenticators that they are awesome. I have ventured into a few different Authenticate This categories on the Forum, and BY FAR are you all the absolute best.
Thank you for all the time and effort and compassion you put into this day after day. You really do care about us, and you all do everything you possibly can to help us get authentic bags. You offer your opinions, and give us more than just one liners when we have questions. You don't turn anyone away unless you don't feel comfortable authenticating something. I really, really enjoy just reading this thread, learning, and witnessing some very awesome ladies helping their fellow members out. I would recommend you all to anyone looking for a Coach.
Thank you so much. You have made my bag life, personally, a LOT better.
(Now back to the show, LOL!)
Anybody know anymore "exceptions" regarding the signature rule? Thanks.
In addition to those posted by Hyacinth, here are a few more.Several of the "Wave" Bags and accessories also break the rules:
Hi ladies! I've been meaning to introduce myself as I'm usually over in the Louboutin forum. I just got a new Coach bag & wallet in the mail today that I purchased off eBay. Something about it struck me as odd so I thought I would show it to you ladies and see what you think. I have owned Coach bags in the past and am a huge Coach shoe fan and I just feel that the quality is questionable. I am not all that familliar with the PVC bags so maybe it's just me, can you help?

I haven't looked closely at those styles but I'm wondering what details don't feel right to you, and why? And could you post a close-up of the creed patch that allows us to read the creed statement and the serial number?
Thanks!

Here is the creed from inside the bag. The wallet overall felt a little "cheap" to me, again I don't know if it is just due to the materials of this bag as I am not familliar with this style as well. Thanks for your help!
1. Looks okay.
2 and 3. We don't recommend buying from bigben52582 because the seller has a long history of using pictures stolen from other sellers and/or other websites. In fact, in the listings you've asked about, the gallery picture is a stolen Coach stock pic and the other pictures in the listing were stolen from a Japanese website.
When you buy from sellers who don't use their own photos, you have no idea what you'll be receiving since you aren't seeing the actual items.
4 and 5. Regarding the websites, they sell fakes. With the exception of Coach's own site, any other site with "Coach" in the same sells fakes.
In the future, please post in the format requested in post #1 of the thread as it's helpful in future searches for seller IDs and items. http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470.html#post14912099[/QUOT

It looks okay to me too. It's probably just the materials. Those styles were made for the Outlets and designed more as a summer bag / baby bag / beach tote than a handbag and meant to be easy to clean and water-resistant rather than fashionable which is why PVC is used for the body of the bag instead of leather. I have a checkbook-style multicase wallet from the same line and it does feel less expensive than the fabric and leather ones. But yours both look genuine and I haven't seen any evidence yet of that line being counterfeited.
You're welcome.1. Looks okay.
