Thanks in advanced :0)

Or maybe it was sold. On Bonanza, sold items no longer come up when you search for the original listing, you have to use a completely diferent method to find them. So just because a listing is no longer posted doesn't mean it was removed because it was fake. Also keep in mind that it's often impossible to figure out if something's real or fake from just one or two poor-quality photos, especially in the case of wallets.

As BeenBurned said, be careful about jumping to conclusions.

Whether or not a seller says something's authentic doesn't mean a darned thing. Every name-brand item is required to be vouched for as authentic by the seller. Some are, and some sellers of fakes simply lie. The word "authentic" in a listing proves absolutely nothing. Odds are that the more a seller emphasizes the word "authentic" the better chance the item has of being fake.

I just saw it listed that's why I said that, i have been searching this wallet every week. Also bonanza always says if it got sold. If the person puts authentic and it sells and it's fake the person who gets it should be guaranteed a refund for that, it would show a false statement on the listing. Btw, I don't have to do anything. Thanks for trying to help I think I'll stop commenting here before I cause anyone else to become sensitive or upset. I don't need a whole lecture on Authenticity.

Definitely fake. Coach made a similar bag, but any time a full-size purse doesn't have any serial number under the creed, it's almost 100 percent sure to be fake.

And always READ the creed - this one says the bag is made of "completely natural glove-tanned cowhide". Any time the creed says something other than what the PREDOMINANT material of the bag is, that's another huge red flag.

Please report.

ok, thanks for your guide.

The pictures weren't clear to me as well thats y I asked. I wasn't jumping to conclusions just wondering why it wasn't there no more no big deal. The seller also doesn't say they are authentic. Lots of people in this thread question authenticity and wonder if sellers sell fake items. That's why we are here. Anyway thanks for trying to help, sorry to bother.
No bother. You did the right thing in coming here. I was only commenting on the "maybe fake" comment you made.

Note that sellers don't need to use "authentic" in listings because since all items are required to be authentic, it's implied. Yes, many sellers do describe authentic items as "authentic" but many sellers of fakes do the same.

Please don't be scared away from asking questions, though.

1- jcslil6pack - fake
2- gretalovesissac - very probably fake
3- esmerita - genuine, one of the Multi Cases
4- adryely121207 - fake
5- stevo1130poc6 - fake - a 5-digit style number from 2000???
6- corinescloset - fake - 1417 is an leather East-West Duffle, see my Fakes List
7- barbarabjd45 - YUCK. Those colors are ALWAYS fake

When you see -1417 in a bag that's NOT a leather East-West Duffle or -5659 in a bag that's NOT a Scribble Tote, you don't even need to ask us if it's fake or not. Just report the nasty thing and make it go away. :D

Thank you Hyacinth! I just want to be 100% sure before reporting anything.

Welcome to the Purse Forum.

Ask the seller for a clear photo of the creed. She describes it as "H7C-9802" which would be the "Equestrian Zip" from 1997.

I've owned and sold that bag in the past and what I see looks OK so far, but the seller's pictures aren't very helpful. The creed photo would help.

:smile1:

Thank you, I asked her to send me a picture of the creed last night, as I learned so much just by reading other posts. How funny that I missed the one right above mine! I will report back with the creed pic if she sends one.

I was doing some more research online about things to look for like creed, stitching, hardware, etc. So I think I may have found some issues.
Also #1,2,3 all have 'Made in China' tags in them and all 4 of them have zippers that say YKK.
Purse#1 My concern with this one is the creed is not stamped into the leather, it's just gold writing & when I ran my finger over it it doesn't feel imprinted at all. Also 1 side of the bag the 'C' s don't line up by the stitching.

I appreciate that, it's always good to make sure. :smile1:

But if it's one of the numbers on the Fakes List and there are other problems too, just zap it, as long as you're using the most recent Fakes List - right now it's in post #504 - you should be ok.

When the creed pic obviously belongs to the bag in the listing and the codes or style numbers are really wrong or it's one of the common fake numbers, the sooner it's reported, the better especially if the listing will be ending that same day.

The ones to be careful with are the older designs and the styles or creed layouts that might be unfamiliar like the Multi Case in the third listing - Outlet items can be tricky unless someone's seen them before, and some of the Outlet styles can be a little (cough) weird. :graucho:

Purse #2 My concern with this one is there is no creed inside the bag at all. And the seller didn't disclose the stains on the purse & wristlet but that's a different story:D
