The bag is probably fine although I'm not about to click on the picture AGAIN to see the year.

It's the "City Bag" and you can find the year in the first set of letters/numbers.

Hi - I bid and won a listing with 3 bags, one of which was a Coach. When I found it, the bidding was almost over so I didn't have time to authenticate. Right after I won, I requested the seller to send me a picture of the creed and here's what she said:

It is 100 percent authentic coach purse. I know this because i bought it at Costco a few years ago and paid ninety dollars.It does not have a patch on the inside. If you look up authenticating coach purses on ebay it will tell you that not all coach purses with have this patch inside. What it does have is a metal button with the coach name and the matching coach tag that hangs on the outside of the purse. I hope this answers your questions and concerns. I am a very honest person and value my reputation as a seller.


So, I just wanted to make sure this is true. What about it? Thanks in advance.

We need to see photos of the bag and the listing. Some small accessories like Swingpacks and Pouches may or may not have creeds but each style needs to be looked at on its own.

The first was called a Premier Case and was from around 2001. It was designed to carry a Palm Pilot and the Velcro was to hold the PP in place, the other half of the Velcro would have been attached to the back of the PDA.
Second is a Madison French Purse, and third is a Polished Calfskin French Purse. They're probably all from right around 2000 give or take a year or two.

The Coach is a Pouch rather than a full-sized purse and might not have had a creed. From the little bit of it in the photos it's probably genuine but you can always take more photos when you receive the bags.
