I almost passed on this bag because it has a stamped monogram but it was cute, clean, in good condition, no bad smells, and only cost $4 - so I figured, what the heck?!

Does anyone have suggestions for removing, hiding, or minimizing the embossed monogram? I did a search on TPF but only found info about overpainting gilt monograms.

It's a Blazer Bag, style # is 9830.

Hi - Starry was looking at this for me but said she hoped someone who knows the older bags would try to authenticate for me. She said FABintheCITY sometimes sells fake bags. So I really need some help since I already bought it. I'll have to get a refund if it's not real. Thanks in advance.

No, it could have been any time from approximately the mid 70s to the mid 80s, give or take. There aren't any public records of exactly when the stamping was changed.

I don't see any issues regarding authenticity with either.

It's authentic and is called Bleecker leather wristlet.

The Coach Leather Tag is shown in the one auction on the side of the bag, and it doesn't look like the other one has the same tag. Do they both look authentic?
