Another trick!

It only stays there a very short time. Now you have to go about accessing differently. So if you mouse over the original link (the one that no longer works once it's sold), it'll show the title of the original listing. Type in the key words, in this case, try Coach legacy sling.

In this case, only the listing in question comes up. Sometimes, I think if the buyer has paid for the item, you'll have to check the "sold in the last year" to find it.

Aha! I don't know if it's just me, but this didn't work until I toggled back and forth on View Style from Gallery View to List View.

The link no longer works, maybe because it sold? I did see the listing before it sold but was waiting for the experts on older bags to comment on authenticity. Can you repost the link?

FYI, this seller has been discussed on the forum and been known to have sold fakes in the past.

Apparently FABintheCITY still has trouble telling real from fake and isn't authenticating before listing because she just sold this fake Coach:

Here's a new link for this. Be sure to scroll down to see it. I went ahead and bought it last nite but hope to find out for sure if it's OK before she ships. She takes a while to ship to you. Thanks for your info Starry - good to know. Any other info available would be appreciated because I have bought other things from her.
Thanks so much to all you for what you do.

The one you purchased looks fine to me, and though pictures aren't the best, at least I can read the creed.

Style 9076 is the "Companion Flap" and that one is from 1998.

Comments: These bags both appear to be the same model, but I am seeing differences between them, unless it is just the lighting in the pictures. Any red flags? TIA!

As far as I can see the differences are due to lighting and the way the bags are stuffed or not stuffed. The blue lining in the first one is either over-lit or possibly a bit faded but that's the only obvious difference, the actual lining color is probably somewhere between the two. What other differences are you seeing?

Item: Brown zip crossbody bag
Listing number: NA
Seller: Goodwill Store
Link: NA
Dimensions: 9"w x 7"tall x 3" deep

Comments: The serial number is "No.651-5840" so I believe it was made in the 70s-80s? It says that it was made in New York and the hang tag is only finished on 1 side. Please authenticate and I would be interested in any information you have (name, style number, etc.) about the bag.

I almost passed on this bag because it has a stamped monogram but it was cute, clean, in good condition, no bad smells, and only cost $4 - so I figured, what the heck?!

Does anyone have suggestions for removing, hiding, or minimizing the embossed monogram? I did a search on TPF but only found info about overpainting gilt monograms.

I will post additional pics with the next message, thanks in advance for your help!
