Is that style something that Coach ever made? Figures I would find it cute (the overall style, I do see the flaws on this). Thanks for posting the warning!
No, Coach does NOT make a keychain with those charms.

That fake is a fake combination of several different keychains. There are several styles of keychains that have sunglasses and/or a hat but other charms are also on the authentic versions. And there's a scottie/westie keychain that has dog and dog carrier charms as well as other charms.

But there is no authentic version in the charm combination or colors that are shown on the fake.

Could you please authenticate this bag, is there any coach made in italy?
Thanks.

item : Chic! COACH YELLOW Made-In-Italy MADISON BAG PURSE TOTE
listing: 230470079394
Seller : elleareese

Some Coach bags are made in Italy (and in many other countries also, including China, India, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Viet Nam, Costa Rica and others).

The listing is for an authentic bag and Elleareese sells all authentic Coach.

I bought this bag on ebay and opened a paypal claim against it as it is fake. I provided a detailed list of images of the exact same style of an authentic version as well as the fake bag for comparison but it was not acceptable to them. They want a 3rd party opinion but this costs money which I'm not willing to spend. Please provide some feedback confirming the inauthenticity of the bag labeled "fake" so I can hopefully submit this as further evidence~ thanks guys!

That's not going to happen because based on the only picture I was able to see, which is the creed, the bag is authentic.

You should not have filed a dispute until such time that you got confirmation that the bag is fake.

The bag in the following post is not the bag you purchased, but it, too, is an authentic bag that the buyer is questioning.

Would you please repost the pictures or link to your photobucket album because the only visible picture is the creed.

Here is a listing for another AUTHENTIC bag of the same style:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTH-COACH-SIGN...tem&pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item483a6a4656

Since you say you bought the item on ebay, please post a link to the listing.

EDITED TO ADD: You bought another of the same bag, also authentic:

I hope you didn't also file a dispute on that one. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not accuse sellers of selling fakes when you aren't 100% sure!

That's because that's the AUTHENTIC creed i used to compare it to... I thought the link would let you view the entire album... I assure you the bag is fake. All pictures of the fake bag are labeled "FAKE". The ones that are not aren't labeled. Let me try to post more links.

You certainly are welcome to wait for other opinions but you got an authentic bag.

Instead of continuing to solicit opinions that you hope will tell you your correct, you should be rejoicing in the fact that you had an HONEST seller who sold you an AUTHENTIC bag.

If you read the post on the board for which I linked above, you'll see that several other experts commented that there are slight differences in the bag. It appears that Coach varied some of the details on different versions of the bag.

Again, please read this post:

Since you didn't post a link to the listing, here it is for others to evaluate.

EDITED TO ADD:
I've realized that the bag pictured in the listing is the same one that the OP posted pictures of on the purse board.

Kim, you were told on the ebay boards also that the bag is authentic.

What you have done is serious. You have accused a seller of committing a felony. The sale of counterfeit goods is illegal and your accusation could be construed as libel. You will find yourself on blocked bidder lists and will be unable to find sellers willing to take a chance on you. This type of accusation against a seller will hurt sellers beginning in September. Ebay policy will ding sellers' accounts when there are disputes, even in cases where the seller is found to have committed no violation.

Again, you owe your seller an apology and you need to end the dispute.

And for the record, your bidding history is showing that you are buying way too many bags with a serious lack of pictures. In most of your purchases, authenticity cannot be determined with just one photo.

I have not asked any other forums to authenticate the bag. This is the only one. The seller has asked for further opinions herself. As you can see from my history, I do buy several bags. I'm really shocked you can't see the difference between the two bags. FYI~ the "suede" on the bag is totally synthetic. There is no grain to it. I know what suede feels like. The leather is also fake.

I do not open claims frivolously. I know Coach and this is NOT authentic. There isn't even a period on the last sentence on the Coach creed. As you should know, Coach makes all their creeds without any grammar issues. The bag was even sent in a box which came from Hong Kong. Not that there aren't authentic bags in Hong Kong, but there certainly are several fakes coming from there. Did you look closely at the creed at all? Or even beneath the buckle where there SHOULD be a patent number. There is no patent number, just some shotty number. Check any Coach bag you have with a magnetic snap and there should be a patent number if you have an authentic bag. I do appreciate youropinion, but please take one last look at these images.

What the seller has done is serious. Sometimes it is hard to tell from images, especially whencare has been taken to make the bag seem authentic, but this bag is 100% FAKE. If you had it in your hands you wouldn't doubt it.

One more thing~ I just read all the comments on that ebay forum you sent me to. Yes, Coach does vary their styles sometimes. But they don't change certain things. Why would they make the buckle look cheaper when they already have machines which make them a certain shape? The buckles are always shaped the same. Also the feet on the bag are different. Can't you tell they have simply taken short cuts here with this fake bag? And I wasn't the only member that thought so. Someone else questioned the bag as well, but unfortunately no one listened to her. I get hasty sometimes when I buy bags, but most are authentic and I don't have issues with them. But if I get a fake I'm going to do what I can to ammend the wrong.

I won't comment any more on authenticity because I think I've made my opinion clear but I have couple of comments on your most recent post.

1. The suede on both your 7064 bags might be slightly different, no doubt. They came from different cows and being a natural product, there are variations.

2. Regarding errors on creeds, although they don't happen often, they do happen. Whether your creed has an error or not, I don't think so, but Hyacinth will probably comment on creeds and perfection (or lack thereof).

3. I'll let someone else comment on buckle markings.

4. Box from Hong Kong? Sheesh, sometimes sellers use boxes that they may have picked up from department stores, grocery stores, or in my own case, my husband brings home cartons from work.

So what if the box originally contained something that was made in Hong Kong? 90% of items in department stores are imported from Asia. The seller sent it from the Canada as I'm sure the postmark shows. That's where she's located!

Please feel free to wait for other opinions.

O and one more thing~ let's just consider this for a moment~ the creed number (as you should know) indicates BOTH bags were made in '04... IF Coach DID make different versions of the bag, why on Earth would they change the bag up in the SAME YEAR? This only occurs in different years, not the same exact one. This bag is also seasonal and was a Limited Edition (the back of the hangtag stated "Limited Edition FALL 2004" on my authentic bag) design, so not only the same year, but the same season. Does that make any sense?

I know there are variations in leathers and suede. But there is a difference between synthetic and REAL leather and suede. This is synthetic and I'm not just saying this because it's different. It doesn't have ANY grain to it~ it's flat and fake fake fake. You can't quite tell in pictures I suppose. Also, I know Coach sometimes makes mistakes in creeds but this creed does have one which is cause for question. As for the Hong Kong thing, I've been to Hong Kong and I know there are pleanty of authentic bags there but there's a lot of good fakes coming from there as well and I was only mentioning as a side note because I believe this is where it came from. I am interested to know what you think about the idea of changes being made to the design of the bag within the same season which I mentioned in a later post. Also, you didn't mention the patent numbers. Any thoughts on that?
