I was also wondering if I could get your opinion on this wallet too? I'm not sure what other pictures you might need? Thanks so much!
Here I go on a rant again. Sorry.

bigben52582 is another seller who is known to steal pictures from designer websites, Japanese websites and from other sellers.

The pictures in the wallet listing you've asked about were stolen from Rakuten, a Japanese site.

If you search tPF for the seller's name, you'll find many instances where the seller was mentioned as using others' copyrighted work.

Comments: Can someone look at these boots for me please ~ the C's on the stamp look odd to me and they just don't feel like any other leather boots I have.

Attached some pictures I saw of boots on da 'bay that also had "MADE IN ITALY" tags on them.

Now that I look at those pictures that Bunny posted, I believe they offer further proof of a "problem" with the boots you received.

As you can see from the 3 pictures in Bunny's post, #11470, you can see that they're all labeled with American sizing. (I wasn't sure whether Italian-made Coach boots would use European sizing but those pictures tell me that they don't use EU sizes.)

All 3 pairs of boots also have more additional information on the interiors than the pair you got.

If I were the buyer of your boots, I'd tell the seller that I want a refund.

But this seller has over 11,000 items sold and is a top rated seller.............still, the listing descriptions seemed hinky, along with no picture of the creed.

It's genuine, from the Dakota line.

The description says color is black & brown. Strange or my eyes are bad.

In what way? Digital cameras and software are notorious for not representing colors the same way the human eye sees them, and something as basic as lighting, backgrounds or colors or tones reflecting off walls or surroundings can make a huge change in how a color looks. Blacks look like blues or greens, brown look like purples, that sort of thing. And Coach's own colors especially on older bags could also cause problems - a lot of bags that are or were originally black have changed or faded over the years so that they could be mistaken for dark navy, dark green or charcoal gray.

Don't always expect the photos in a listing to show colors accurately or you'll often be disappointed with the actual item.

I'm not sure what colors you're seeing in the photo but I don't see any problem with the description.

Comments: I know wallets can be hard to authenticate, but I was wondering if anyone had opinions about this listing

I fixed your link.

The seller shouldn't be using a stock photo for the gallery pic.

Picture #4 shows a SKU number written in marker on the inside lining of the bill fold (also mentioned in the description). It also looks like there's a blue pen mark on the inside of the wallet (both seen in picture #4).

I'm not sure if the last picture in the listing is the seller's own picture because it has a different background and photography style from the other pictures.

hi! pls help me authenticate these thanks!

I fixed your links.

#1 - Looks good.

#2 - Looks ok, but since it's a new seller with very little feedback, if you decide to buy, fund your Paypal payment with a credit to be safe.

Without searching posts regarding the seller, I don't recommend 2designerchicks as a seller I would do business with.

The listing you've asked about has 3 pictures, ALL stolen stock photos from Coach. Not only does the seller use copyrighted pictures but she doesn't even make the effort to show any actual pictures of her item.

And she makes a habit of not using her own work. In the following listing, there's just one stolen picture and it's not even enlargable!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Hampton-S...961?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4aa84f6f09

In this listing (for a Juicy Couture bag), she uses a stock picture plus another photo showing a different style bag!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Juicy-Couture-B...127?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3364bf90bf

So in answer to your question, there's no way to know whether this is a reputable seller because we can't see actual pictures of the Coach bag she is selling.

The seller sent me pictures from her phone because she is having camera problems. Should I post them here or just move on to another seller?

Thanks for your input. That stinks. It's the only one on ebay in this color. In your opinion is it even worth it to ask for pictures of the actual item? Thanks for your time!

The seller owns a camera and does use it for some listings. (His own pictures are shutterfly pics.) That's why I don't understand the use of stolen pictures.

Since the item isn't available elsewhere, you can ask for pictures and post them here.

You might also want to advise the seller that he's probably losing out on sales by not using his own pictures.
