I purchased this hang-tag from ebay. It is tiny and very very light. I thought this particular hang-tag was quite big. One thing to mention is the letter "Coach" is embossed on the back! Can you please help me. Thank you
Listing #230573436909
Seller ID: darc3353

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...R3an7i8%3D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I've never seen a nickel and enamel Pegasus charm although it might be a charm that is part of another multi-charm keychain.

Please wait for other opinions on this item.

The seller does have a fake keychain listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-keyring-G...569?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4cf4903381

And this completed listing is for a fake lozenge charm:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Blue-mini...701?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item35af3f8a75

And another fake sold keychain:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-XL-Legacy...685?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item35af3f6f0d

She has received positive feedbacks for fakes and in fact has a comment that was added to a feedback that states that the charm is fake.

I don't recommend seller darc3353 because this seller mixes and sells both fakes and authentic Coach items.

The seller has several fake keychains listed, and apparently mixes real and fake as well as buying fake keychains and lanyards and taking them apart to make things similar to what you bought. As far as I know the only Pegasus keychains or charms made by Coach were the large leather charm and the multi-charm lanyard. I'm including pics of both.

I'd like to see more and clearer pictures of the item you bought but it's obvious that the seller mixes real and fake. Also Coach would NEVER make a stand-alone charm and sell it on a cheap ball chain like that. The seller DID give measurements for the charm - did you read that? - but that doesn't exclude them from the responsibility of selling a counterfeit item. Contact them and demand a refund, or begin a SNAD claim with Ebay.

And ask here before you bid on any Coach or other designer items.

Apparently, she has been doing this for a long time and getting away with it. As soon as a buyer finds out the item is fake, she begs and sends them the real one. I found that out from the buyer that left her the Follow up feedback. Probably, she will try to do the same trick with me. :smash:
Thanks so much for your time
Although I don't like to see honest sellers get negative feedback when they do the right thing, it's pretty clear that this seller knows what she's doing and "buys" her way out of a neg. And sadly, a positive feedback with the followup will eventually get lost among the "green +" signs.

After having sold a fake and replaced it in order to gain positive feedback in this listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330512997325
the seller has continued to list and mix fakes in with her other listings.

Please leave appropriate feedback and let us know if she relists the fake Pegasus charm.

And here's where she bought the cheap piece of junk that she sold you part of:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...0&si=rFf2fMuN0b9NEHGoflUP08eSOKA%3D&viewitem=

She buys, modifies and flips a TON of fake and questionable keychains:
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=darc3353&ftab=FeedbackAsBuyer

And here's where she buys the ball chains
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...6&si=rFf2fMuN0b9NEHGoflUP08eSOKA%3D&viewitem=

But of course she expects sympathy from the buyers she's ripped off. Ask me if I believe her sob story - unless it's Carpal Tunnel from taking apart all those fake keychains:

"My husband & I are both disabled and Ebay to pay for treatments NOT covered by insurance so we DO NOT accept returns..."

I really like this bag and I can only find it here. But I don't know if it's a fake or not.

any sugguestion on where I can buy this bag ?
It's been said dozens of times but obviously, it bears repeating.

Any website (with the exception of coach.com) with "Coach" in the name sells fakes!!

Look up the "whois" for shoppingcoachhandbags.com and it's a counterfeit selling website in China.

Here's an authentic version of the bag you're looking for. You can save searches for "Coach 13584" title and description and you'll get emails when they are listed. Just be sure to have them authenticated before buying.

Thank you very much for replying my post so fast. I am really new to coach so I don't know much about it. It is very nice of you for the ebay link!

You're welcome.

That link isn't a recommendation but just an example of one of the authentic listings for that item.

As I recommended, search the style number and ask about any listings you find.

I contacted the seller and here is what she got to say:nuts:
Excuse me?? I took this Pegasus off a genuine Coach keychain that I purchased from directly from Coach. I do not sell "metal junk", nor do I knowingly sell fakes. I also clearly state in my auctions NO RETURNS. Thanks for your "kindness".

Dispute has been opend. I don't see a FEEDBACK link to leave a feedback! Wonder why that is?

Did you send her the link to the auction she bought it from?

Please NAIL her when you leave FB. I'm usually willing to forgive a seller if they at least say "sorry, I made a mistake" but when they blatantly LIE, that's when they deserve to get smacked right between the eyes. Reporting her auctions wouldn't hurt either.

"I don't see a FEEDBACK link to leave a feedback! Wonder why that is?"
Ebay removed the Leave Feedback link from Completed listings. You have to go through your Buying page now. Ironic, isn't it?

And I strongly recommend not buying ANYTHING from darc3353

http://shop.ebay.com/darc3353/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

The seller also needs to be watched - she has quite a few fake charms she bought recently that she'll be listing soon.

OMG these Pegasus pictures are so beautiful . Thanks so much for posting them. They don't look like anything close to what I got.

That pegasus is fake. It is a fake of the "Pegasus Mix" Fob. Or rather, part of it.
Here is a pic:

Not only does darc3353 sell fakes but she also lies about the source of those fakes.

As Hyacinth pointed out, the fake Pegasus charm was NOT purchased "directly from Coach," but (again) was purchased as part of this listing for a cheap and tacky fake:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...0&si=rFf2fMuN0b9NEHGoflUP08eSOKA%3D&viewitem=

As for her “no return” policy, that’s actually a good thing because chances are that if you returned the fake to her, she’d probably just relist it and rip off another buyer.

Please send the seller a link to this discussion.

Personally, I wouldn't do business with darc3353 if she GAVE me her items free.

I have a quick question... My mom bought a Coach bag from a friend. This friend claims that the bag is real, but I'm not sure. I'm trying to get a pic uploaded, but I do have the serial number - W0793-10986 - from what I can tell so far from reading here, it appears to be fake. It is a black on black signature satchel that looks very similar to this...

I know that one is fake, but my mom doesn't believe me that hers is. Thanks! :)

Generally, we need pictures to authenticate (or unauthenticate) because usually, authenticity cannot be determined based solely on a serial number.

But there are exceptions when a serial number is invalid or parts of it are invalid.

And that's the case here. If you're reading the serial number correctly and the first letter of the serial number is "W," you don't need to post pictures.

We can tell you that without a doubt, W is an invalid code and the bag is fake.

I feel bad for your mother that a "friend" would rip her off like that.

Thank you. That's exactly what i thought. It is, indeed, a W! :(
