Thanks BeenBurned! I found your answer very helpful. I bought from her co'z she is a Powerseller with a near perfect feedback rating in the last 12 months. She also guaranteed the bag's authenticity. I got doubtful when I saw that the tag attached on the bag misspelled khaki as kheki.
She didn't refer me here, she referred me to coachhttp://www.coachbags2011.com when I can't find in the coach website the bag that is exactly like the one I bought from her. I will definitely demand a refund. Thanks again!

That COACHBAGS2011 site is LOADED with fakes! They're experienced enough in selling fakes to know exactly what parts of a bag or wallet are fairly safe to show in photographs but some areas are obviously NOT made by Coach! If that's where your seller is getting her bags, she's ripping you off and selling junk. Just one look at their wallets was all I needed to see.

If you didn't already post clear close-up photos here of the bag and any other items you bought from either of those crooks, please do. And do not buy ANYTHING from COACHBAGS2011.COM or from anyone who uses them as a source of either merchandise OR information. Their merchandise is ALL fake including their wallets.

Unfortunately, this "powerseller" is a disgrace to honest ebay sellers who deserve the title.

I think I can speak for myself and others when I say I'd love to see yayendij come here and tell us about the "authentic" bags he/she sells.

If the pictures actually belong to the seller, the bag appears to be okay.

That said, I have reservations about greatstuffforyoufromtexas.

If indeed, the seller has a camera and uses her own pictures, there's no reason why ANY of her listings would have only a stolen copyrighted stock photo.

For example, this listing has no actual pictures:

And several other listings have backgrounds, photographing style and skill level, focus, etc. that indicate that the seller may not use her own pictures.

If you do love this bag and choose to purchase, fund the payment with a credit card just to be safe.

the seller just referred me to COACHBAGS2011.COM, i don't know if that's her supplier. thanks for the heads up though hyacinth! i'm just a newbie in this bag business, I'm glad there are experts like you and BeenBurned to help me out.

I do love this bag and always purchase via paypal with a credit card, so no worries there. I just a request asking for a pic of the back side of the bag and asked if the pictures posted were of the bag for sale..............what kind of response I get will determine whether or not I buy this one, since you authenticated my alternatives.

I have a related question regarding the Carly patchwork bags you just authenticated. I've been looking at similar styles in blue denim patchwork. Some of the bags I see have the patchwork "straight" and some have the patchwork "diagonal". I see the bag with both a brown leather strap and a silver strap.

The reason I'm looking for this bag is that I spotted someone last year carrying one with what I SWEAR was a gold strap... and I've been trying to locate it ever since. At that point I only owned one Coach bag and had no idea about details so I have no idea if the orginal bag I was was authentic or not.

So - what details should I look for? I have a few listings I've compared -

The first listing you posted (and the similar second item) with the vertically placed patchwork pattern have metallic leather straps. The color isn't really gold but it's not silver either. The hardware on that bag is silver colored though. The carly is style 13720 and came in indigo (blue) and pink.

The third item with diagonal patchwork pattern has leather straps.

#1 and #3 look good.

Seller #2, vivning doesn't have enough pictures in any of her listings to either prove authenticity or determine whether the seller even uses her own pictures.
