But NO Signature C pattern bags were ever made n the US so I doubt very much if the bag your friend looked at is genuine. Unfortunately, looking at a similar bag usually doesn't tell us a thing about the authenticity of a completely different bag - we always need to see photos unless we know the actual serial number and recognise it as a known fake. But there's no doubt that a bag with Signature C fabric that has a Made In US creed is fake

It's trying to be a copy of the Signature Satchel, but style 6828 is supposed to have a zippered pocket with a tassel zipper pull on the front.

The wording on the creed and serial number has the wrong font, wrong spacing, and bad, uneven stitching. It also appears to be missing a period after the word LEATHER.

While I don't see any red flags, wallets are notoriously hard to authenticate from photos. It would help to see closeups of the front and back of the snap button, the logo stamp, and the lining.

The style is 41486, the Ergo Signature French Purse. The color would be Silver/Khaki/Platinum. In fact, it looks like someone has written out the style number and color code on an insert tucked in one the card slots. What is the insert? Did it come with the wallet? Where is this wallet being sold?

I've yet to purchase the wallet and the seller mentioned bought fron Vancouver, Canada. And she will bring the wallet back to Malaysia (her origin country) for holiday and posted it for sale in one of a Malaysia sales forum :)
