I have two more that I would appreciate your help authenticating.

Item: Purple Bridgit 11622
Listing Number: 220701620930
Seller: edropoff
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...nijRdZg%3D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Comments: This purse looks a lot more purple/amethyst in person.

Item Name: Brown Fall Patchwork 11495
Photos: View attachment 1270912View attachment 1270915View attachment 1270916

Thanks in advance!!

Both are fine. Yes, the Amethyst Bridgit color is lighter and brighter in real life. I think it's the lighting that makes the color look darker in the pics.

Item: COACH BROWN SUEDE LEATHER DUFFLE SHOULDER BAG 1421
Listing number:130463204167
Seller: sophistifashion
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...5lz2qjg%3D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Comments: I just bid and won this item. Could anyone let me know if it is authentic? I never had a suede purse before, so I thought I might try this one. Thanks!
The bag is authentic but the seller is not one we would have recommended.

Sophistifashion has a long history of not fully describing damage and wear on bags, polishing and/or dying bags to make them appear newer and less used than they are and has also been known to list fakes.

Her feedback tells a lot:

Thanks! Also, I appreciate your advice on the seller. I will be extra careful and look over the bag thoroughly once recieved.

Item: Coach Breast Cancer Awareness Swarovski Charm
Listing number: 250738103072
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250738103072&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Won and purchased this yesterday on ebay. Wondering if authentic.
Seller: sarah_lew_716

Oh, boy!

First the good news: If the picture is the seller's own photo, then the charm in the picture looks good and you bought an authentic item.

That said, this is an *interesting* seller with an interesting history.

The charm you purchased was originally part of a Coach keychain (style 1734) which consisted of 7 charms in various sizes and an additional lozenge hangtag charm.

The seller appears to buy keychains, disassembles them and either sells charms separately or uses them to make tacky jewelry.

The problem is that some of her jewelry items were made with fake Coach charms.

These earrings are made with FAKE charms:

These homemade earrings are NOT Coach earrings as described although the charms are okay. The box shown in the listing is fake:
http://cgi.ebay.com/One-kind-Coach-...985?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a60e55b29

I have no idea what this is supposed to be. I guess it's 2 hangtag charms but there aren't any Swarovski crystals on them nor do I have any idea of authenticity because the picture doesn't show enough detail:

This might be a genuine charm on a generic chain and generic keyring. It absolutely is NOT a "Coach Heart Key Fob" as described by the seller in the title.

This one looks fine. The box in the listing is another (rarely-seen) example of a genuine box.

Thank you. Any idea on the little charm?
Are you referring to the lozenge that is hanging from the loop closure? That comes with the fob and is fine.

Shoot. How will I know if it's real? Do I post here when I receive? What if it's not real? What do I do about getting a refund? The keyring was my first experience with a "fugazi" and I went ahead and told Jlbanks that I would refund her money without receiving the keychain, and that she should destroy it or keep it. Whatever she chooses. I just want to avoid anything like this in the future, because some things I purchase for myself, and some I purchase for resale. In both cases, I don't want fakes.

It looks like the seller sarah_lew_716 originally purchased the keychain from this listing and disassembled it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220683617756

IMO, I consider it a shame when sellers do this because it ruins a perfectly good keychain.

Here's one of her fake keychain purchases:

When you receive the charm, take a photo of what you receive and post it here. If it's fake, we'll advise you on requesting a refund from the seller or if necessary, how to file a dispute.

As it appears now, the charm you bid on appears to be authentic so as long as she sends the actual item from the picture, you should be okay.

To avoid this kind of problem in the future, until you feel very comfortable about judging authenticity, post your questions here before bidding or buying. As you've seen, it's easier to find out ahead of time that an item is fake than it is to fight for a refund after the fact.

Edited to add: After seeing Starry's post with your seller's purchase of the breast cancer keychain, my guess is that you'll receive a genuine charm. But if you have any doubt or questions, just come back and post.
