Hello dear authenticator ... can u pls help authenticate this bag. I bought it as a present for my dear friend on ebay because its hard to find coach here. I thought it looks authentic on the photo but when it arrives it doesnt feel/look real .. something is not right with the bag. I own a few Coach bag and this bag doesnt have the same quality as my other Coach bags.

In particular the word Coach at the coach tag is not straight. The stitching on the shoulder strap is not neat and a bit crooked... and I doubt that the shoulder strap is even leather. I have attached many photos for reference and I do hope that u can help ease my mind as I pay quite a lot for it to be a fake bag indeed. Many thanks in advance.

Item name : Coach fabric bag (dont really know the name)
Seller ID : 4956ward
Item number : 180589509870

Style name for 12963 is a Madison Juianne bag.

The bag you bought from 4956ward is fake for the following reasons. (I don't want to be too specific but the differences are obvious in comparison to the side-by-side pictures.)

1. The creed stitching is sloppy on your bag.
2. The serial number is stamped too deeply on your bag.
3. The font and horse and carriage plaque are incorrect
4. Leather is wrong texture
5. Lining is wrong fabric and color

I've attached side by side comps of your pictures vs. mine for the identical item and in the same color.

By the way, your seller also sold a fake LV scarf that she described as "designer inspired."

One has to wonder about all the MAC makeup and Tiffany items.

If the seller gives you an argument, file SNAD (significantly not as described) stating that the bag is counterfeit.

In your dispute, state that you would like a full refund including shipping and that rather than returning the bag to the seller and have it resold to another unsuspecting buyer, you'd prefer that ebay order you to destroy the fake.

Whether they authorize destruction or not is inconsistent but IMO, it's better than sending it back to an already-proven dishonest seller who would probably just relist it.

If they require that you return it before a refund is issued, be sure to use an method of shipping that shows online delivery proof.

Unless the seller offers a full refund, you should escalate the dispute.

I have a feeling 4956ward and boo.keeper are affiliated.

Check out these two listings that have nearly identical descriptions.

Comments: am trying to get the seller to give me the creed photo, but waiting the reply.

Both look ok, though the second one should have a closeup picture of the creed. The first item is a clutch and this particular style does not have a creed.

Interesting observation, Starry.

If that's the case, they also shill each other's items or they "buy" in order to build feedback.

4956ward received 2positive feedback from seller boo.keeper on August 17.

Boo.keeper received a negative feedback for that fake bag:

Fortunately, the buyer did leave a neg for boo.keeper! :yahoo:
In this case, I think you should leave appropriate feedback for 4956ward.

Did you notice boo.keeper's follow-up comment on this feedback:

Apparently boo.keeper thinks that she can just keep on selling fakes and if buyers catch on, she'll just refund them.
