Hyacinth and Beenburned...thanks so much for your help already. Here is a link to the close ups of the Sabrina. It is the small Sabrina. I have the lg - bought at FP boutique (my first Coach) I apologize for the bad pics, but I only have an Iphone to use for pics right now. I can't get a good one of the Coach tag and Carriage on the front. I looked at it under lighted magnification and compared it to my known authentic lg Sabrina. I don't see any difference, except it is smaller and more of a brushed gold that my lgblack Sabrina. The hardware shape & size is the same. Re the hang tags...I knew they were missing and asked about them. The owner said she didn't like them and took them off...she went back in and brought out the sm one, but couldn't find the others. BTW...can they be purchased at Coach if you take in the bag? Also...Is it true that NO auth. Coach bags have linings with CC's or the word coach all over the lining fabric, or is that hearsay? Please wait for Starry's opinion on the Sabrina. I see some differences between your bag and might but it could be that your blurry pictures are making it look "off."

I really don't know and don't want to mislead you.

As for hangtags, Coach doesn't sell them but if you call their home offices, if they have them available, you might be able to get free replacements.

NO!! It's not true that no authentic Coach bags have signature or lozenge lining! It's more misinformation being spread in all the useless guides floating around the internet.

Although many fakes have signature or lozenge lining, Coach also made (and makes) authentic bags with those linings.

Without seeing pictures of your bags, we can't say whether they're genuine or not but the lining isn't the determining factor.

Thanks for your help...again, I'm sorry for the pic quality. As far as the carriage and coach tag go, it is identical to the one on my known authentic Sabrina,has good thickness and detail right down to the number of spokes in the wheel, enamel detail in coach emblem, etc. I don't have any bags with anything other than satin linings, but I did read that about the linings...perhaps it was that no signature bags have signature linings...My gut feeling on this yellow sabrina is that it is "right". The 3 bags were only owned by the lady and she told me she bought the 2 leather ones at FP boutique and the optic at the outlet herself. I know people do lie, but it just looks and feels right to me, although I am a novice. I have 9 other coach bags, mostly leather and they are all authenticated or purchased by me in store. I got all 3 of these for $85, so not big loss if she is not auth...but she will get chopped up if not ! I have no mercy, LOL.

I REALLY wish I knew! I have 4 or 5 bags from that "family" and can't find a name or a catalog that shows them.

All I can tell you is that they seem to have come right before the Sheridan line and that they're related but have some differences from the Sheridans. The leather grail of the Sheridans is different, and the Sheridans are all fabric-lined and often have plastic inside zippers whereas what I call the "Pre-Sheridans" are unlined and with a pigskin inside pocket with a strange little flat metal zipper pull.

If anyone has any catalogs from the early 90's showing those "pre--Sheridans" and can put a name to them, I'd appreciate any details you can supply.
