Bought on ebay. Would like to know if its real or fake. No serial number on inside tag. Price tag state HMW swingpack silver and the bag is teal. Makes me think it is more than likely a fake, but someone elses opinion would be great. Any info or help much appreciated!!!

I'm not sure why the tag says Silver since the color codes at the top are absolutely right for the bag (Silver/Pool). Probably someone entered the wrong color when the tag was reprinted for the Factory Store. I don't see any problems with it.

Always examine the creed photos before you bid. If there's no photo and the seller won't send one, don't bid. Everything on that creed patch is completely wrong.

The serial number is also completely wrong - both halves. According to the prefix - the style number is completely bogus and has too many numbers too - the serial indicates that bag was made in Mexico in 1995. Coach hasn't made bags in the US for about 8 years. A bag with the Carriage logo should never say Made in the United States.

They are a company registered in Maryland.

They don't indicate quantities of each item but it appears that they might employ shoppers who buy from outlets and/or department stores. The pictures of their items generally look okay but some items also show manufacturer stock photos in addition to a limited number of non-stock pictures.

They don't seem to have huge quantities available of each item, at least for the few items I "test" bought. The 2 Coach items I tried were only available in quantities of 2 and 4. However, I was able to "purchase" 15 of one of the Dooney bags and 10 of a Burberry. That concerns me.

Nothing I enjoy more than someone bashing us telling us that we don't know what we are talking about and then on the other hand coming here for us to authenticate something (even though they don't trust our judgment).

Your help and the other authenticators on here is always appreciated Hyacinth!

I can't find any photos of that bag but Coach did make a line of fringed suede bags around 2002 or 2003. You might want to ask for a creed photo if there is one or a pic of the inside of the price tag showing the style and color codes.

It looks good to me too. I've seen outlet items tagged like that, with an incomplete name or color. As Hyacinth said, the complete color code is Silver/Pool, which can be seen by the SV/PQ color code on the top of the tag.

i asked for a close up of the silver emblem cause i think its light reflecting, i also asked for a close up of the creed and the hang tags.

Please ask the seller to use the macro feature (indicated by the tulip/flower icon) on her camera to get a clear picture of the creed and the logo plaque. Please post the additional pictures if you get them.
