I was wondering if one of you knowledgeable ladies can authenticate this flaw, I am on a purse ban so I consigned some nice bags and used my bags for credit and I got this bag. Stupid me didn't look at it thoroughly and saw this flaw on the strap which tells me its a fake. Can you help me out, the creed is L2P-9966 made in Costa Rica.thanx in advance.

Item Name: On the tag it says SIG PCD STP WRST and underneath it says 4021

Barcode: 657326658714

Other Description: There is not a number printed on teh inside. However, there is a small black tag saying "Made in China" on the inside.

Comments: I bought this off of a friend of a friend. It was a good deal, so either way I like it. However, I am hoping it is an authentic Coach. It looks really nice. However, I am not able to find any pictures of it online. That kind of makes me nervous.

It's fine.

Coach is inconsistent with creeds and lack thereof on its smaller accessories items.

1. Some of Coach's smaller items (wristlets, pouches, swingpacks, cosmetic cases, etc.) have creeds with serial numbers
2. Some of Coach's smaller items (wristlets, pouches, swingpacks, cosmetic cases, etc.) have creeds without serial numbers
3. Some of Coach's smaller items (wristlets, pouches, swingpacks, cosmetic cases, etc.) do NOT have creeds at all

And to add more confusion and inconsistency, sometimes the same style item will have creeds with or without serial numbers if made in one plant and will not have a creed if made in a different plant.

Sometimes Coaches do have flaws. The "all Coaches should be perfect" Rule is NOT always true, or even true most of the time.

I don't own a Legacy Zip but there don't seem to be any problems with the bag other than the strap. Maybe someone who owns one can take a look?

Thank you so much for taking the time to look! I have just confused myself looking through all the sites on how to identify authentic Coach purses. Each one says something different about metal fobs and creeds.

Comments: Please look at this seller's listings. The buyer of the above listing has concerns about the authenticity and in looking at that item as well as the other current and completed listings, I have worries.

Additionally, a google search of the seller's previous ID shows that either he or his wife is from Guangzhou, China, more cause for concern.

Is the bag authentic?
