Sigh... thanks. That's what I suspected. This is the second knockoff I've received this week, as well as two authentic but badly misrepresented bags. Grrrr.

Both are authentic. The second one is made of a leather (almost suede-like in texture) that is very easy to get dirty and once it gets dirty, the marks are practically impossible to get out. This is a very delicate type of material and probably not really meant to be used as an everyday bag. Even if it was just used occasionally, it's quite easy to get dirty just by setting it down somewhere or rubbing it against something that could cause color transfer and marks.

The problem with many sellers on blog sites is that the sellers use copyrighted Coach stock photos or pictures stolen from other sources. It's not apparent whether the pictures of the Ergo tote shown in the listing are the seller's own pictures. The seller uses Coach stock photos for many of her other items.

You should ask for more pictures of the bag and for a picture of the creed.
