The wallet looks fine and the seller sells authentic.
Thank you BeenBurned. I agree with your comments and thought it looked authentic, but I am not an expert and this is for a friend so thought I had better be careful. :D
I should have added a caveat, though.

Be very careful when buying wallets. They are "well-faked" and difficult to authenticate.

Although many do look good, the fakes are so hard to identify that you want to ask questions and make sure you buy from a seller with a proven history of selling authentic.

Item Name: Coach Patent Sabrina Handbag
Listing number: 290441866884
Seller: shinesforever (658)
Auction Link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290441866884

Comment : as far as i know, for camel patent sabrina, the lining is emerald green satin.. and as far as i can remember, there's no sabrina in patent white.. so, what's this? is this authentic?

This isn't the Camel color, it's Ivory. The pictures in the auction aren't that clear, but it appears to be ok. Clearer pictures of the creed, hangtags, and logo plaque would be helpful. Here's Coach's picture of the Patent Leather Sabrina 12957 in Ivory.

My niece bought two for me in a Coach store because I asked her to look for me. Here are links to the same models online in Ebay. I just want to make sure she authentics as it's her first Coach handbag purchase. I have some pics she took but they are too large to post. I compared her pics with these eBay pics and they do look identical. Thanks!

PS

The zipper has the YKK on it she said. I found this tip below online:

Check the zipper pull. Coach uses zippers from only one company, YKK. If you look at the zipper pull, you should see "YKK" imprinted in small letters. If you do not see these letters, you have a fake.

These listings look fine but in order to authenticate the bags you have, we'd have to see your pictures of the actual items.

You can open a free photobucket or other photo-hosting account and upload your pictures. Then post the "IMG" codes here.

This is absolutely UNTRUE! I wish people would stop reading authenticity guides because there is so much misinformation in them that they are worthless.

Coach has used several different brands of zippers over the years, YKK being among them but certainly not the only brand. And 99.9% of fakes have zippers that say YKK (probably because the counterfeiters have read the same boloney guides.)

Zipper brand has absolutely nothing to do with authenticity.

Thanks! I did not know that about the zipper brand. Are there no good authenticity guides out there? I guess posting pics is the only real way. I have an older model Coach and it does have that YKK brand on the zipper but the little feet do not have stitching around the metal parts like the guide said and I bought it at a regular Coach store, not a Coach outlet or factory store. Let me see if I can shrink these photos. If not I will open the Photobucket account. Are the IMG codes the links to viewing them?

Thanks!

There are some good guides that are written by people who actually know what they're talking about.

But even some of those, unless frequently updated can become stale and/or obsolete. Since Coach makes so many changes to their "rules," what was a rule at one time is no longer "always" the rule.

The most consistent "rule" about Coach is its inconsistency. Every "rule" has exceptions.

Here are some posts with helpful information.
