The listing looks okay (as does the dust bag) but a picture of the creed would be nice.

May I please ask for the experts' opinions on this?

I purchased this at a charity garage sale this morning, for $3.00. I figure that if it's real, it's a decent purchase. If it's fake, well, it was just more donation for a good cause (Pediatric cancer research), and I'll just toss it.

It's red leather, turnlock, crossbody. The creed is stamped on a pocket hanging on the inside-front. I can find no markings on the turnlock, but there is a "YKK" on the inside zipper (I couldn't get a good pic of those three letters, but will try again if needed). There might be a couple letters on the turnlock, but if so, they're mixed with a couple small scratches and tarnish.

Thank you for any help or advice.

(Two more pics; I apologize if I'm posting too many.)

(editing to add ... and *if* it turns out to be real, could anyone tell me what it's actually called or when it might be from? Thank you so much, again.)

If it's about 9x7x3 inches (22.5x17x8cm) it's Quincy Bag from the early 1990's and definitely genuine. Nice find!

need help from your experts, thanks

one of the ebay seller write me the serial number MSD-9755. I doubt its authenticity. because ANY bag with just three LETTERS to the left of the dash is fake. Please correct me, thanks.

please give me your opinion about the bag,

Please post the listing and seller ID for the first item with MSD-9755 as the serial number.

For that item, it's possible that the seller misread a "5" as "S" but without a picture of the bag and creed, it's impossible to authenticate.

The second listing appears to be okay but wait for other opinions on that one. Sometimes the Turkish and Costa Rican creeds are a bit funky on spacing.

I agree with BeenBurned. I wonder if the seller is reading it correctly? If the creed is worn it actually could be a "5" or a "6" or an "8". BUT...if it actually is an "S" ...it's not authentic.

The other bag that's made in Turkey could be fine. I don't think I've ever owned one made there so I don't know if they had some oddball creeds. Wait for Hyacinth to comment.

thank you very much, beenburned, the seller is rjselling, please see my post on page 141. actually, I asked the seller if he/she could send me a large view picture of the creed before the bid was end. he/she just replied me with the serial number and guaranteed the authenticity. Maybe he/she made a mistake.

please help me authenticate those bags, thanks.

thank you very much, DemRam, this is the second item I sought for your opinion yesterday. actually, I asked the seller if he/she could send me a large view picture of the creed before the bid was end. he/she just replied me with the serial number and guaranteed the authenticity. Maybe he/she made a mistake.
