No, not at all. Coach used plastic zippers on many of its bags, especially the newer ones. There are no "rules" about which styles got which kind, and Coach often changed that kind of detail during production. For example, I have a US-made Willis from around 1993 that has a brass zipper and one made in China in 2005 with a plastic one. Changing to plastic zippers made the bag a bit lighter.

For Craigslist, as long as the picture is the actual item you'll receive, it's fine.

The problem with CL is that many sellers use pictures "borrowed" from other sources and there's no way to know what you'll receive.

The photos aren't very good. You should probably ask for a better pic of the creed patch, but I don't see any red flags.

The pictures look good (assuming that the pictures are the seller's own) but a photo of the creed would be helpful.
