Comment: New here and hope I'm doing this correctly. I appreciate the help! Bought this bag at a yard sale over the weekend. I have a feeling it's a fake after bringing it home and looking closely, but I'm new to Coach so I'm not sure. I only have one other Coach bag (from the outlet) to go by for comparison and the knowledge I've gained from reading online. This bag has the YKK zipper and the proper looking snap but the stitching looks slightly iffy to me and the fact that I can't find much online about this particular style of bag has made me concerned. The CC lines up straighter than appears in my photo. I had a difficult time taking a photo without some bunching and wrinkling of the bag. Also the creed is clearer than it appears in my photo. My camera's macro feature isn't the best. Thanks.

The bag is absolutely authentic. I hope you got a great deal.

Please do NOT believe all you read in internet guides regarding zipper brand. Yes, Coach uses YKK zippers in some of its bags and they use several other different brands of zipper too. And 99.9% of fake Coach bags have zippers that are marked as "YKK."

Zipper brand has nothing to do with authenticity.

And regarding stitching, for the most part, stitching will be fairly good on Coach bags but it may not be perfect. On this bag, the slightly crooked stitching is probably the result of difficulty in stitching through several layers of thick suede patches.

The reason you're having trouble finding many of these bags is not because it's "iffy," but because the bag is several years old so there aren't as many being sold now. (There is one current ebay listing and 2 current Bonanzle listings for the same item.)

You'll find dozens of listings for current items that are in the outlets, but if an item has been out of production for a while or if it was sold out from the outlets in the past, there won't be as many listings for them.
