Do you mean that this was bought to match an Ink bag? By match, do you mean the same color on the outside? Because Ink is a completely different color and the interior is a different shade too.

And there's still many things not right - the underside of the snap and buckle, the "Signature Care Card" for a NOT-Signature wallet, the incorrect color code for leather that's not British Tan, as well as something that shouldn't be there at all... sorry, I don't think that wallet is genuine.

I just meant that they are both Bleecker bag and wallet. I know that Ink is a dark blue color. They didn't have an Ink wallet in the Bleecker style, so I had to get the British Tan. The Buckle on the wallet is the same as the Buckle on the Bag.

I'm not talking about a problem with the shape of the buckle, I'm saying the BACK of the buckle - the part on the underside of the flap - and the details of the snap are wrong. The Care Card is wrong. The Coach tissue inside the coin pocket is wrong. The color on the price tag is wrong. And there are other details we don't talk about in public.

I'm sorry, but I'm sure that wallet is counterfeit. If you got it from Macy's it's very possible someone returned a fake for credit, it happens a lot.

Here are the last 5 I took.

The wallet didn't come with a box because I put them inside the bag I get them to go with. The Buckle on it matches the Buckle on my Bleecker Leather Handbag in Ink. I had to have gotten this wallet at Macys because that's where I got the Ink handbag that it goes with. I always get them together so I know they will match. I have some Coach tissue paper that I wrap the wallets in so that they don't get scratched while being stored. I wish I could find my receipt for this wallet and the handbag. I've had them for a good year or so, maybe longer.

Thanks for posting the extra pics. I agree with Hyacinth. There are things I'm seeing that are not right.

The address insert, the price tag, and the care card were not printed by Coach. I compared them to cards from authentic items and the font is wrong on your cards. I've seen fakes that have come with cards with the same type of wrong font.

I bought this top handle bag today but have no idea what the name is.
Name:(?)
Seller: Twist, Santa Cruz, CA

As always, Thanks

It could be an older style that you are not aware of. As I said, I've had it for quite a while.

You said you bought it a year ago. And we KNOW Coach wallets and when it was made and have photos of the genuine version sold by Trusted Sellers. (BTW, it's from Fall 2007).

Your wallet IS counterfeit, you've been told so by at least four posters here and you're STILL listing it on Bonanzle as genuine and as being authenticated at tPF which is no longer the truth.

Please read these posts again - the closer we look, the more problems we find:

You need to remove that listing immediately.

I am pretty certain that this wallet is real, but I want to be sure. I can't remember where I purchased it. :ashamed

Thanks so much!

I'm sorry Maxteddyjasper, but your story keeps changing so in addition to the red flags on the wallet, there are also red flags raised by your explanation.

1. First (on May 27) you said you were "pretty certain" it was real but wanted to make sure. If you'd purchased at a legitimate store, there wouldn't be any question.

2. In the same post, you said you didn't remember where it came from.

3. Then (on May 29), you suddenly remembered that it came from Macy's

4. You claim to have purchased it together with the ink bag because "it matched."

With all due respect, that story doesn't hold water! People who are matchy-matchy don't buy a dark blue/black bag and a brown wallet, even if the styles are similar!

5. After having been told on May 27 by BeenBurned, Starrymaz, Hyacinth and ms-whitney that the wallet was (at best) questionable, you listed it on Bonanzle the NEXT DAY!! That means that you knowingly listed an item that you weren't 100% sure of authenticity.

And not only did you list a questionable item, but you had it authenticated by tPF!?!?!?!? That certainly isn't true.

And with the addition of more pictures (thank you for posting), the wallet has been definitely confirmed as fake. Why haven't you ended the listing?

Please do the right thing and end that listing before Bonanzle does it for you. :(
