You're correct. The listing from seller alashay29 is a dreadful fake. Please report.

(And I think this seller knows the difference between authentic and fake. Her other listing for a Coach bag is described as "authentic," whereas she doesn't use that word in this listing.)

I don't recommend jldeals4u. The seller's listing shows 3 pictures, all of which are stock photos stolen from Coach.

And since all the other listings from the seller also use stolen pictures, there's no way to know whether the creed photo is even her own picture.

As a "top rated seller," jldeals4u should know better than to use pictures that aren't her own photos of the actual item.

I wouldn't do business with the seller.

Thank you! I see your point about the stock photos and stolen photos.

However - my husband already bought this for me (the seller relisted and I used that link). I suppose since I have it, I didn't need to link to the bay?

The creed photo is my own. I can post other photos if needed. The bag seems ok to me, but if it isn't authentic, I'd want to try to return it.

I think I am reading the serial # wrong, it looks to be in too good a shape to be how old I think it is...and you ladies always say"if it looks too good to be true.."...

I sold my Legacy Zip from 2002 and it was still perfect, so it is possible to find one in really good condition that's about 10 years old.

I don't see any problems.

Unfortunately a lot of Etsy sellers advertise bags as "vintage" when they're not because of the way Etsy's rules limit what they can sell. And there's at least one Etsy seller who does use something on her Coaches that make them unnaturally shiny, so maybe we're more cautious about Etsy sellers with older Coaches

Thanks, BB, I stand corrected. The color combination didn't look like any other Scribble combination I've ever seen. And the graphics on the soles are more Poppy than Scribble. The 2-tone white and brown combination on the boxes seemed to be a red flag too.
