I just picked up my second Crescent Saddle Vintage Coach and need some info....The funny thing about this bag is it seems to have been made earlier than the ones I have seen around here with the Seam down the center. There is the Coach metal tag in place of the creed. But I think the leather is not as thick and heafty as the one that seems to have been made later....
Does any one have any insight into this bag? Is it possibly a Fake? Did they make fakes of bags from the 60's 70's?

The early versions had the center seam but I don't know anything about any differences in the leather, and I'm not familiar with the pre-creed bags. Hopefully someone who is will be able to answer.
