Anyway, i see there was a question on my Coach Geometric Box purse. I rechecked the creed and the number is definately 9943 and NOT 9043. It's a bit bizarre to me. I had the bag authenticated on the ebay board before it became a wasteland. I will try to post a couple of photos including a better close up of the creed. It does have the outlet bullseye.

With the numbers so similar, I'd be willing to bet that whoever stamped the number accidently set the stamping mechanism to a 9 instead of a 0. Coach has been known to make mistakes, we can't emphasize that point enough.

I think at least one of our posters either owns that bag or is very familiar with it - hopefully she'll stop by. But it looks genuine to me.

The style number and details are correct, and that's one of my Trusted Sellers. The quality is excellent - as the listing says, it's not a toy and shouldn't fall apart.

Absolutely authentic. Bethsbagsnthings is a trusted seller and anything she sells is authentic.

8443 is the style number for the dog. It's not the Bonanzle listing number.

DON'T PANIC.

First of all, the photos in that post are from several years ago, and the information applied ONLY to that exact style bag - NOT the one you asked about. Different style, different serial number, different creed stamping - there really is no comparison.

I commented over a year ago on something someone had asked about the same pictures, and my comment was the same:

Compare apples to apples, and above all, MAKE SURE WHATEVER YOU'VE COMPARING SOMETHING TO IS ACCURATE. Those pics were originally posted almost three years ago and can only be used to compare the EXACT bag as in the photos.

I don't know why those pictures keep coming up because they have no connection to ANY other Coach bags, and the comments such as the one about the metal "rivet" in the hangtag have nothing whatsoever to do with any other bag. In fact I wish that original post would disappear because it proves what I always say about "Authenticity Guides" - most of the information in them is outdated, applies ONLY to certain items, or is just plain WRONG.

The black bag you're asking about is genuine, BTW.

Wendie Zip. It looks ok.

I don't know anything about it, and there doesn't seem to be a "family" that it belongs to but maybe someone else might know. The style number along with a few others is stuck right in the middle of the late 90's Ergos.

Please do not take guides as gospel. Most are full of inaccurate, obsolete or at least partial incorrect information.

I don't see any problems with the bag you won.
