We're beating a dead horse! The bag is fake and if the seller sells as a second chance to the next buyer, she risks loss of her account! It's illegal to sell fakes and the seller needs to authenticate the bag, if not to convince buyers then to convince herself!

If you feel like having "fun" and want to go to the Coach store with her and if it's not inconvenient for you to do it, go for it. She'll get the confirmation she needs.

Hi!

Would a creed on a Coach bag have the same number for another bag of the same style? An EBay seller is auctioning off another Coach Madison Audrey satchel but the pictures are the same as the one she auctioned a few weeks ago and it's the same serial no.

Any help is appreciated.

Seller could have multiples of the same bag and style, but I'd ask for pictures of the bag because seller could be using stock pictures instead of taking new ones each time.

Since (I think) 1994, Coach serial numbers are no longer unique. The serial number information shows the date and factory code and the style number. Thus, the same style bag that was made at the same time and in the same factory as another will have the same serial number.

Also, many sellers of NWT items purchase more than one of the item. They often use the same pictures to sell both. There's no problem with that as long as the pictures are accurately representative of the item being sold.

All this said, just because a bag has a valid serial number or because the serial number is the same as that of other sellers' items, it doesn't necessarily mean the bag is authentic. Counterfeiters can and do use legitimate serial numbers on fakes.

If there's any question as to authenticity, please post the listing here before bidding. Use the format requested in the first post of the thread.

Ladies,

I need from advice please (probably more confirmation that I'm right). I just purchased a Large COACH Sabrina from a seller on ebay. She had 800+ 100% positive feedbacks and she had the Black and Brass combo I've been desiring for too long.

Got the bag today. Noticed immediately that the leather felt "stiffer" than my other Sabrinas. Figured it needed a little loving and conditioner. Then I unclipped the dogleash clasp and became more than concerned. I compared the clasp to my large sabrina and my smaller on....they're not the same.

Does/Did COACH use different sized clasps? Did I buy a fake. I've been a COACH collector for 20+ years and consider myself a pretty bright gal. Did I get scammed?

Pictures attached show a comparison of my Large Cranberry Sabrina and my small Parchment Sabrina with the purchas Large Black Sabrina.

They are very well made and they shouldn't fall apart.....that one is rather pricy....I got mine on EBay he was missing his collar and I paid about $70 for him....have a look there because I have seen them go for about $100 to $130 there.

Hello. This is Koreanesque from Bonanzle, formerly from ebay. That feels good to say!!
Anyway, i see there was a question on my Coach Geometric Box purse. I rechecked the creed and the number is definately 9943 and NOT 9043. It's a bit bizarre to me. I had the bag authenticated on the ebay board before it became a wasteland. I will try to post a couple of photos including a better close up of the creed. It does have the outlet bullseye.

The scarf has the appropriate tag and info on the COACH brown contents... and the rolled edges are correct for those older items.

The beanbag keyfob is VERY used, but looks authentic to me, even with conditioner it won't replace the tight leather that it used to be.. or the color that's worn off. Can't see key ring really well, so it's hard to tell if it's the original or not. I have them in red, green and black I think.
