Please be patient! We come here to look at listings on our own time. We have other things going on in our lives; families, work, housework, errands, etc.

We're doing you a favor to offer our opinions, but please don't get impatient when you don't get an answer right away. This isn't a job, we don't get any compensation.

If someone reads the post and isn't sure enough to give a definitive answer regarding authenticity, we don't respond. We wait and let someone else with more expertise in the specific product voice an opinion.

Personally, I'm not familiar enough with that style. I've never seen it but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not made.

All this seller's listings have a prop in the pictures that concerns me, though. Personally, I don't feel comfortable about the seller, whether the bag in question is authentic or not. JMHO.

I'm semi-familiar with the style, but I never recall that bag in particular, nor does the seller provide you with a clear picture of the creed (and I've never seen one of the silica packets in ANY of my Coach items).

I agree. There are several problems with that listing and I would NOT recommend bidding.

And for the second time today, I'll back up what the other experienced posters have said. Demanding our immediate attention or complaining when you don't get it is rude and immature. We're not here to provide immediate gratification, we're here to analyze and then give opinions. And OUR lives and families and jobs and schooling and responsibilites and commitments come before yours. If someone can't live with that, sorry, but that's the way it is.

And in case it's not clear, this isn't the local deli or fast food shop and we don't give you a numbered ticket when you walk in, and we don't always answer questions in the order that they're posted. Some may get answered within a few minutes and some may take a lot longer. That's the way it is, and the order in which questions are answered is completely up to the individual members who are doing the answering and giving up their own personal time to do it.

If you need an opinion quickly because an auction is almost over, please say so politely at the top of your post and we'll TRY to answer. If there aren't enough photos, we probably won't be able to answer, so try and get the photos of the item that we usually need to see before posting here if possible. And if you miss an auction, it's not the end of the world, the same style will show up again sooner or later.

If that's not good enough, then try asking at Ebay's Shoes and Purses forum and see what kind of answers you get, and how long it takes to get them.

No problem Bruhilda, just be patient. This forum alone gets an average of five pages of questions and answers every day and it takes a while to get to all of them. You're not going to be forgotten if someone gets behind you in the queue.

Unfortunately, you posted on a day where one incredibly rude comment by a new member already raised our collective blood pressure and a few of us are still a bit upset over it.

No problem. Apology accepted.

We DON'T recommend buying from that seller - she's been discussed here and at other forums before. Search the forums for her name:

and check her Feedback at Toolhaus.org:

She also sold a bag to a tPF'er that had been re-colored with white shoe polish.

Thank you so muchhhhhh..........Hyacinth and BeenBurned.

I am very new to this forum (live in Thailand) so really don't know how to search such a useful information of sellers. Very appreciate in your kind suggestions. Have a nice weekend. :smooch:

thank you very much...

I have received the silica gel packs in many of the bags I have purchased. If you get a bag from JAX and they do not take it out of it's original packaging, it will usually have about 2 gel packs in the packaging.

Thanks!

I own that same bag. I don't know the exact proper name, but was told (back in 2006) by one of the experts on the ebay purse board, that it's a "Drawstring Flap". She also dated it to the mid 1980's.

I'd be concerned about condition because of the following sentence in the description: "It could use some glue where the strap attaches on both sides of the bag, see pic." I don't know exactly what the problem is, but it looks kind of rough on the sides. I can't imagine putting glue on a bag to hold the straps on.

Oh my gosh!! Get your beauty sleep! The bag is authentic. I just wasn't sure of the style name so I didn't respond but after a bit of research, I can tell you it's a signature pleated gallery tote.

Thanks a lot, BeenBurned! :flowers:

I was kinda worried, coz was browsing through the other thread - "The Answers to AUTHENTICITY Questions" and read bout the CC's arrangement. Noticed that the arrangements of the CC on the top and bottom part of the bag are not completely centralized and symmetrical. Kindly see pix for reference.

Does this alter your answer that the bag is authentic? :push::sweatdrop: Thanks again!
