Think the seller will actually send the bag to Coach? Or maybe she found out that if they determined it was counterfeit, Coach would destroy it.

Sheesh - if I KNEW a bag someone was questioning was genuine and there was a way to verify authenticity in writing, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Especially if I was asking thirteen hundred bucks for the bag, AND even more so if I wasn't the original owner - or "giftee".

That's probably my fault for double-posting both here and at the ID This Coach thread at the regular Coach forum, but that's where the would-be seller originally posted. Interesting that she only asked for a name, NOT for the bag to be authenticated.

And even though she claimed that the bag was "specially made" for a Coach employee or friend or something, she still used the name of the GENUINE style in her listing even though she said it was a one-off and it didn't have the same lining, creed or buckle details.

Can someone tell me what they think about this Zoe? I won it a couple of days ago (didn't have time to check with you guys first) and it arrived today. My main question besides the authenticity is what's the difference in the leather Zoe bags with F0882-12671 & G0882-12671? It came with a white, 'silky' Coach dust bag. I appreciate your feedback ladies! I really like this bag so I'm hoping I got the 'real deal'!

Also, the retail tag was no longer attached but does mine look more Antique Gold than Copper?

Your Zoe is authentic. The first letter in the serial number is the month of manufacture, the next digits indicate the year and plant code, and after the dash is the style number. So the bag with serial number F0882-12671 was made in June 2008 and the bag with serial number G0882-12671 was made in July 2008.

For those wondering about the months:
A = January
B = February
C = March
and so on... Coach skips over the letter I.

As for whether it's Antique Gold or Copper, it's hard to tell from the pictures since the lighting isn't that great. Do the auction pictures show the actual color accurately? Copper is a darker, more bronze-y color and Antique Gold is lighter, more gold.

Many of the newer bags come with the white silky dust bags. Enjoy your bag!

Both look good. The corner of the second one is patent. It's just the flash that makes it look that way.
