I stand corrected on the "Garage Sale" - but it did give me a chuckle. And I don't think there was time to discuss it on Ebay before the forums went down. If she re-lists, I'm sure someone will bring it up, there are a few former Coach employees who still post there.

Think the seller will actually send the bag to Coach? Or maybe she found out that if they determined it was counterfeit, Coach would destroy it.

Sheesh - if I KNEW a bag someone was questioning was genuine and there was a way to verify authenticity in writing, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Especially if I was asking thirteen hundred bucks for the bag, AND even more so if I wasn't the original owner - or "giftee".

I know Garage Sale is a weird name, but it's great software for us Mac-philes.

I guess I may be wrong about the Ebay boards but shoot I guess I've read one too many thread about this particular bag, and I couldn't remember where I saw it. :D

I have a question about the ostrich bag person.

She has many other handbag listings and quite a few of her subtitles state:
+++ 100% Authentic Bags! Trusted Seller! TPF +++
Appropriate?
http://clothing.shop.ebay.com/Women...ipg=&_ssn=closetcompass&_trksid=p3911.c0.m282

I guess this just shows that anyone can claim to be a TPF member and any listings that say that should be taken with a grain of salt. Personally, when I see listings that mention TPF, it doesn't give the listing more weight or increase my level of trust in the seller (unless I know who the seller is) because I know that even someone who just signed up yesterday and has one post can claim to be a member.

Anyone who sees listings in which the seller mentions TPF shouldn't automatically assume that the seller is trustworthy, but should ask the seller for her/his TPF ID and then check on tPF to see if she/he is an active, contributing member here. And maybe even go a step further and PM the person to confirm that she really is who she says she is. (Though, just make sure not to discuss the ebay transaction via PM, as that's against the rules.)

BTW, her other tPF ID is still active.

Comments: This bag looks like a hot mess to me, but I just wanted to verify with the experts before reporting. Thanks!

Also, I haven't been in this thread in a day or so and was just reading through the drama with the "ostrich" bag. I saw the creed picture that Hyacinth posted and noticed the it said that the bag was made of cowhide! Just another reason to suspect the authenticity.

Can someone tell me what they think about this Zoe? I won it a couple of days ago (didn't have time to check with you guys first) and it arrived today. My main question besides the authenticity is what's the difference in the leather Zoe bags with F0882-12671 & G0882-12671? It came with a white, 'silky' Coach dust bag. I appreciate your feedback ladies! I really like this bag so I'm hoping I got the 'real deal'!

Also, the retail tag was no longer attached but does mine look more Antique Gold than Copper?
