I read a bit on the net about the bag, what to watch for in fakes, the pics seem nice and real, the seller is established and then I read here the D8J prefix may be fake?

I've already bought the bag :( I appreciate any help

I don't remember anything about D8J- numbers being possible fakes. Are you sure you're not thinking of DEJ-?

There's nothing wrong with the bag in the listing.

Thank you so much, Hyacinth :woohoo: it is a fine looking bag. Thanks to the forums here, I checked her seller ID thru Toolhaus and she hasn't had any neg. feedback for years. She is a really nice woman and so patient with my first eBay purchase. I actually felt kinda bad looking up her name cause I had a good vibe from her. I've never done so much research to buy a purse and this is, by far, the most informative place on the internet. :yahoo:

My question is, since Coach doesn't sell just the pens, how is this seller just selling pens, are they taking them out of the planners and selling them separately? And how can this person be selling so many Coach items?

I apologize if these questions are stupid, but I've never bought on Ebay, I don't even have an account. I just really want a pen to go in my checkbook and I don't know where else to get one besides Ebay, but then I'm skeptical, so I figured I'd check with the pros here. TIA!

I don't believe Coach sells pens individually. I've only seen pens that were included with the planner.

I don't know why the seller is selling only the pen, but there are many sellers who remove hangtags and dustbags that are normally included with purses and try to make extra money by selling them separately. Maybe this seller is doing the same.

If you plan to buy, please ask for a picture of the Coach logo on the top of the pen.
