This bag seemed OK, but I am bothered by the font of the word Coach on the creed and hangtag. I can not find another bag similar to this one in style 040.

I believe that one is a "Pocket Purse" and it was made BEFORE style numbers, so that is simply a serial number. Made in the late 1980's through 1993.

What are the measurements? I think the Pocket Purse is about 9 1/2 x 6, but I'm not positive.

Wait for other opinions, but that bag looks fine. The style number ISN'T 040. That bag was made before Coach implemented its current serial numbering system and the older bags don't contain the style number as part of the serial number.

I don't know the name of the style, but DemRam or Hyacinth will probably know.

The eyeglass case is fine. The Cs don't line up on the cases.
