I believe that one is a "Pocket Purse" and it was made BEFORE style numbers, so that is simply a serial number. Made in the late 1980's through 1993.

What are the measurements? I think the Pocket Purse is about 9 1/2 x 6, but I'm not positive.

It's fine. But it would be nice to see a picture of the inside. (I don't think I've seen this one faked, though nothing would surprise me.) It's style 7847.

In the future, please use the format requested in post #1. It makes searching for particular sellers easier.

I have never had to open a dispute, so I would wait for other opinions on how to proceed.

I do believe that going through the dispute process means you have to return the item before you are issued a refund IF Paypal tells you to.

I don't recall the fake bag, but since it has been removed by ebay, that should work in your favor.

Wait for someone more experienced with these things.

PS. Would you post the ID of the seller of the fake bag?

ha now he has gone from dispute to claim, he says i will give her a full refund when she sends the purse back. in my letter i said i have had the purse ready to send, but since he lied about the purse and his three day money back guarntee, im nervous. I know they will make me send it back, i dont care, but this way they will make sure i get my money , right ? the sellers name is 6igotit.

You've escalated, right? Then wait for Paypal to tell you what to do with it.

Once you've escalated, do NOT have further contact with the seller. If he contacts you, respond through ebay messaging that "now that we are in a dispute, any further contact between us must be through the dispute console. If you contact me any other way, I will not respond. I am telling you this through ebay's messaging system so ebay will have it on record that you've been notified."

Whether ebay will do anything if he contacts you again is unlikely, but maybe your message implying the possibility of sanction will keep him at bay.

In the future, never buy shoes without a photo of the sole, at a very minimum.

I don't see any obvious problems but ask the seller for a picture of the sole and a picture of the size and style information (from inside the shoe).

It appears she has quite a few "gifts!" She has a current and completed lisitng for Coach sneakers, neither of which have photos and has also sold several other pairs of Coach shoes.

None of the listings have the style name though all appear to have the boxes. Strange, because the box shows the style name.

well i think he escalated :)
he had sent me a email that said ebay told him he should not have used the coach name was why they pulled it. So, hes totally without a leg isnt he? i think , he just doenst want to have to pay return shipping which if he had said ill pay half or anything, but he went from did you ask coach, how do you know its fake, to ill give your money back, to i want the purse back first before i will refund. so i said , should i file something with ebay and he wrote back..and said file it, so i did , then he never even answered me..he escalated it and told them hed send me the money when he got the purse...thats when i told them i have had it ready to send from day one, but i dont trust him, to have the money and the purse :) i took pic. of it like you guys said, with my hand and ring in the pic. (thank you for the suggestion) and now i bet i cant leave neg feed back because its been pulled. when i did a little research, i saw he had tried to sell it for 100$ before. Why would you fight it? i dont get it . it would seem ebay wouldnt want the purse back in his hands. but im totally new at this purse stuf f thanks for all you do for the purse people...ill never buy anything else with out asking you guys first!!! thank you !

Most of her other auctions don't have actual pictures, and I am now positive that the ones that do are using stolen pictures. If you help me find more proof I will report them all!!!
