I wonder whether they like it that way. They aren't losing money on the takedowns and when the fakes sell, ebay makes more $$ from the FVF fees.

This is my first post here. I've been lurking for a while though, great forum!

I have to sell a couple of my Coach purses, and have received a question from a potential buyer and I have no idea what she is talking about. You guys really know your stuff.

First off, I have never bought ANY coach items from other than a Coach store (90% of my Coach items) or from Macy's or Lord & Taylor. I just bought the new leather Brook in Eggplant http://www.coach.com/online/handbags/-handbags_feature_brooke-10551-10051-5000000000000059551-en?t1Id=62&t2Id=5000000000000059551&tier=2
at the Coach store at 620 5th Ave in NYC last weekend (which is why I need to sell some bags I don't use often :( ), although most of my purchases have been in Farmington CT.

The number stamped on the inside is M0632-10764 which I told her. She sent me a message and asked me what the full serial number is inside the bag near the inside zipper.
Am I missing something? is there another number? I've looked everywhere inside the bag, I have never heard of another number.
Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me.
Oh I should add that the purse in question is a medium Ergo Signature Hobo.

I have no idea what she's talking about either.

Perhaps you can refer her to this post and ask her to post a question or comment on what she's referring to.

(If you give her the URL, copy the top of this page but also give the post number. This forum is confusing and overwhelming unless someone has been hanging around a while.)

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't think there was anything else; I've owned many Coach bags for many years and have never heard of anything else.
