Hi,

My opinion only. I would ask the seller for a photo of the actual bag they are selling. See if you get a response.

They have 16 Coach bags for sale and all the photos being used are stolen "stock" photos or photos probably stolen from another seller. Some are stolen directly from Coach's website.

You're correct about the feedback. Nobody buys an item on May 14 and leaves positive feedback the same day unless there is something "fishy" going on.

My advice - NEVER buy from a seller with only 1 photo. I would run far away from that seller.

:smile1:

There IS one non-Coach website photo but the seller seems to be confused about the style number :graucho: :

I agree completely with DemRam - you may want to wait until that seller establishes her reputation and learns to take her own photos and earn her own Feedback:

Can you authenticate this please?

Any pictures of the inside?

First glance gives me bad vibes, but wait for more opinions.

This bag has a creed I've never seen before. The style number has "IR" in front of it~ IR5656.... Is this one real? TIA!

It's hard to say for sure. The details look ok though - I'm wondering if maybe it was an Irregular that was set aside to be sold only to Coach employees. But it's surprising that it would end up at the outlet, that color should have sold pretty quickly.

Any current or former Coach employees here who've seen "IR" added to the style number, maybe for employee sales? There was a discussion before about what else the "IR" might stand for and I don't think anyone ever found an answer.

I asked this seller for additional pictures on one of her listings 2 days ago and I have yet to receive it. The same thing happened with one of her craigslist items as well. This doesn't mean I think the items are fakes, just that all the feedback may not be substantiated. Thumbs down for communication from me.

Thanks Hyacinth! I first thought IR meant irregular too, but then thought that was kind of strange they'd actually take the time to emboss that on the creed vs. just making some notation on the price tag as a 'final sale' or 'as-is' because of the irregularity (whatever it might be).

Hya,
I've seen a LOT of these, mostly because I've been monitoring the Hamptons sets and seen a lot, and I mean, 5 new a week? with the "IR" which AFAIK does mean Irregular, and was sold only to employees and NEVER at outlet/retail. Over the last month I've seen more than normal, but I'm not sure if it's a fake-thing or someone bought a bunch, and is now selling them for whatever reason. Most of the details on the IR bag's I've seen are ok, and all with the same style # also.

Thanks, Bunny. It would be interesting to compare one to one that's known to be genuine. Strange that it would have an outlet mark though. This one may have to stay a question mark - if it's a fake, it could be a recent one, the creed is a lot better than what was being sold a few years ago when these were first released. Maybe someone here will be able to tell us where they're coming from. :shrugs:

Which is ironic, since the seller's great "communication" was what was mentioned in all those Feedbacks. Something's definitely rotten in Denmark... :graucho:
