Authenticate This COACH

How about this Carly? I know it is older and beat up, just need to authenticate, Thanks a million!!!!

Very fake. There are many things wrong with this Carly. The C's are off-center on the front, the stitching is the wrong color, the hardware is wrong, the serial number is wrong, the lining is the wrong color. Carlys were not made in 2005 and the style number 1482 is for a different bag. The large signature Carly is supposed to be style #10620 (and the medium is 10619). If this is being sold online, can you post the link?

Looks good. As mentioned in the auction and shown in the pictures, the metallic has rubbed off somewhat on the back side, which is a common occurrence with the metallic leather Zoes.

Looks really good and in great condition!

Definitely an authentic 1996 "Sonoma Flap Bag".

There is a great Sonoma Guide on ebay that I have linked below. They are practically indestructible bags - just don't conditon them like "regular" leather. Just a soft cloth.

Thanks for the extra pics. I don't see any red flags. I think it's probably ok. BTW, what is that red mark on the top of the bag? It looks like the dye or some color transferred onto the fabric.

It's actually make up (I believe lip liner). My friend's friend was a little hard on the bag. I might be able to get it out.

Hi everyone, I'm not normally in the Coach subforum but I have this wallet that has been hanging around my house, unused, for probably about 20 years. I know that's a long time, but it's not my style and it was always in my closet, in a drawer, etc. I always assumed it was real Coach, but now that I am into bags I'm not so sure. The only Coach marking is on the zipper pull and the front edges don't look right. There are no other imprints, creed, etc. Here are some pics. Thanks in advance!

Oh, LOL! I think you'd probably be able to get it out. I think there are a few threads here on how to clean makeup stains off of fabric.

Hope I'm doing this right - this is the first time I've joined or posted in a forum. I have a couple of old Coach purses that I'd like to authenticate. I've learned enough from reading everything here to determine that my first Coach purse is a fake and probably one of my others is, but I'm not sure about any except my latest purchase. I'm planning to sell these two, if they are real. Can anyone help?
