I just registered here today. I have been reading post. I love this place. Thanks for all the tips. Is it true that on coach bags you will never see the C's cut Like on the front panel where they have a seam. Coach will always have full c's on the front and back?

Hi everyone, I'm not normally in the Coach subforum but I have this wallet that has been hanging around my house, unused, for probably about 20 years. I know that's a long time, but it's not my style and it was always in my closet, in a drawer, etc. I always assumed it was real Coach, but now that I am into bags I'm not so sure. The only Coach marking is on the zipper pull and the front edges don't look right. There are no other imprints, creed, etc. Here are some pics. Thanks in advance!

Hi, can someone tell me if this Coach bag is real. The leather is exceptional and it's made quite well. But on the creed, it says "made in Costa Rica", have Coach bags ever been made there? I realize this bag is a bit of an older style, but I thought all the old ones were from the US. I have circled in white and put an arrow.

Also the interior zipper pull is plain, I was expecting to see a Coach logo pull. Is this bag an authentic Coach? Thanks for all your help.

Please post a photo of the actual bag. I'd like to see if it matches the style number.

The creed appears to come from a 1996 "Sonoma Flap Bag" in pebbled leather. The inside zipper pull is correct for a Sonoma. There should be a small rectangular zipper pull on the outside back with "Coach" stamped on it.

Coach was made in many countries. Costa Rica is one of them.

It is my understanding that Coach was never made in Korea.

The 5 digit number is also a serial number never used on a coach item.

Definitely wait for Hyacinth to comment - as she is the expert on this subject.
