So I've been looking at this Coach Tote 10125. The serial number I have is

HO668-10125

I've been looking at a lot of others and notice that the first part of the serial number usually ends in K. For example DO6K.

It's also only 4 letters/numbers whereas the one I'm looking at has 5 (HO668).

Anyone have any information to think that this is real or not?

The "Made in China" isn't what makes it fake. Most of Coach's wallets are made in China.

But you'll need to post clear closeups of the outside and inside of the wallet because there many fakes and it's often difficult to distinguish if they're authentic or not.

In fact, unless a seller has a proven history of selling only authentic items, I wouldn't recommend buying a wallet on ebay.

The first part of the serial number indicates the month, year and factory where the item was made. Different bags of the same style can definitely have different prefixes.

That said, 10125 (signature stripe) is a highly faked style and many of the fakes have valid serial numbers.

Post any listings here before bidding or buying.
