It's definitely a Sheridan (BLAST! Why does the seller have to be a smoker?) but she doesn't list the measurements. If it's about 12x7 it's called a Wilmington Satchel. If there was a larger one made, I haven't seen it. There was a large briefcase called a Sumter Briefcase that was about 15x10 with a top handle, rounded flap and removeable shoulder strap though.

The leather, and not just the piping, looks pretty beat up and you really can't bring it back with Lexol. And if you use straight Lexol on a Sheridan, the residue collects in all those little "valleys" in the leather and it's a beetch to clean out.

The wallet is a Madison Checkbook Clutch, not a Sheridan. Oh, and probably a third of the Sheridan styles didn't have serial numbers on the creed. The style # for the satchel is 4227.
I agree, smoking makes it that much harder to rehab and clean. I do have some Lexol, but you think the luster on the trim/bottom is totally gone for good? The checkbook can be cleaned, residue from the stickers is easy pickn's.

I'm not sure since I've never tried to rehab a pebbled leather with that much scuffing. The color on those doesn't go as deep as the regular cowhides, but if you can get it for the right price it might be worth a try.

Hi! Can someone please take a look at this for me? Does Coach sell their items in sets like this? There's no clear pic of the creed, but if it's obviously fake I know you guys would know without seeing the creed. Thanks a bunch!!

COACH didn't sell that in a set - the SELLER is. There's a big difference.

Those are completely genuine, style # for the wristlet is 7117. I can't find the bag right now but I know it's in one of my older catalogs.

Found it - the hobo version is the Soho Denim Stripe Hobo so I assume this is the Tote, from around 2003.

And no, Coach AFAIK never sold anything in sets. but that doesn't mean someone can't sell it that way. Unfortunately, a LOT of fakes distributors DO sell bags and wallets in sets.

Hey girls, can you help me out with this one? I purchased it and it arrived today but the creed is a little strange which is making me question it. Honestly, it feels like leather to me but when I buy on ebay and something ends up being off, it makes me question myself, ya' know? I'm kicking myself because the creed was even shown in the auction but for some reason I just didn't notice that pic :( The stitching is all perfect and all so I just don't know.

Oh well, if it's not authentic, I can try to dispute with paypal right? What do you all think?

(ETA the link because I am a dork and forgot it!)

I know this is authentic, but some crazy person keeps saying that the rules of coach says that the bags should not have the C's on the inside.. Sadly I explained it to her that the rule she is talking about is for signature items.. I also told her to stop accusing honest people because she knows NOthing about Coach.
It amazes me how some people go to the coach store once and think they are experts...
well, here's the link... Look at it and tell me your opinion!

Oh I directed her here, but was told that she couldn't learn anything from this board because she already knew!!

Thank you, Hyacinth! I know a lot of the counterfeiters do sell sets, so I wanted this one checked. I appreciate you looking at this one for me!:smile1:
