seller has 100% feedback but the home-made tag and placement of the creed just seem weird to me. not planning on bidding but want to report if fake so someone doesn't spend $200+ on the fake

Interesting. The description says it's a limited edition designed by Reed Krakoff and Miss Davenport for the Legacy Boutique, and I believe that's what it is. The lining looks correct. I would ask for a closeup picture of the creed to be sure. FYI - check out the measurements, this is a very small bag.

How's this? Looks great to me, but it never hurts to get the final check:

Personally, I'd ask for a better picture of the exterior with the bag laying flat so the alignment of the Cs is seen better, but the creed looks good

Thanks Marg!! The bottom is what was puzzling me. The only signature bag I own is a gallery tote with the suede bottom so im unfamiliar with full signature bags and their seams.

So basically it would only be in the Legacy line to see these patches? Thanks for your help. Also does anyone know why they did that? Just looked weird to me as I have just started building my purse collection again. THANKS!!:smile1:

Legacy is one of the lines (but not the only one) that has the creeds with the script writing. There are other styles that have this type of creed too.

Looks good to me.

Hi guys. Signed up to help a friend who just bought a Coach bag on ebay and I'm doubting it's authenticity very much.

This is what she has bought: http://i8.ebayimg.com/02/i/001/41/e9/701e_1.JPG
What is this style? Am I right in saying that serial number MO4K-5659 is for the Scribble Tote only and all Coach bags should have the YKK logo on the zippers? (this one doesn't

It's not looking good. The C's are wrong. Can you post a picture of the creed patch? If the serial number is M04K-5659 as you've stated, it's fake. We've already seen another fake here that used that serial number, which should only belong to the Scribble mini tote. Not all Coach bags use YKK zippers, though, so YKK zippers shouldn't be used to determine authenticity. Can you post the auction link?

Sure, here's the auction link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=280333824062

No pic of the creed patch on there but my friend confirmed it does indeed say M04K-5659 (and it also states this on the listing).
I wasn't sure about the lining of the bag either.

I made a few eBay purchases before finding this site, so I'm hoping these are authentic.

(Sorry my photographs are pathetic, but I was trying to snap these quickly while the babies were eating breakfast.)
