Hi! This is an older bag I bought at a yard sale. Was wondering if it's authentic? TIA! (hope my pics loaded right!) If not, I'll try again!

I believe it's authentic and I have it as a "Chrystie Bag".

Yours is from the late 80's through 1994.

:yahoo:Thank you, DemRam! This is the bag I asked you about a few days ago. I bought it for $1.00! Your white one is pretty! I was thinking of selling this one, but I really like it & it's my oldest Caoch, so I'll keep it! I appreciate your help, you're awesome!:D

My question: Why are your items all without tags?

Her response:
It is what it is...that is how we get them (before they are tagged thru factory direct means). And that is why you can get a great buy.

I have little doubt that the "new" seller is Phenix/Fashionoulet.
Thank you Sare_Bare for giving us a chance. And to the lady who said I was snotty and snarky I am not a scammer. I just started doing this after Christmas with a friend who knows SO many people in Coach and knows A LOT about Coach. I am not phenix or whoever. Actually that person BID on my auction. So for you, don't be quick to judge me as I have always been lovepointers and there is NOTHING wrong with selling AUTHENTIC bags without tags. They do make fake tags, you know. CHECK MY FEEDBACK!!!!!! WE ARE NOT SCAMMERS. AND I MEANT OUTLET, NOT FACTORY DIRECT AS SOMETIMES THEY ARE USED SIMULTANEOUSLY. And I was probably snobby in my answer because I got defensive when you asked me so many authenticity questions. They are. Period.

Thanks for your explanation. But I'm still trying to figure out your comment "It is what it is...that is how we get them (before they are tagged thru factory direct means). And that is why you can get a great buy."

So between going from the retail stores to the outlet, Coach makes bags without tags available to certain buyers? Now there's something I wasn't aware of. If they're selling bags without price tags, that's against U.S. law. And if you're taking the tags off, you're going to continue to get questioned about WHY. It's common sense to think that someone who's removing the tags has something to hide.

And which of your auctions did Phenixx bid on? Just curious.

Sorry if I am not doing this right first of all, trying to create second thread with more info in regards to my first thread....some more links for pics to help verify.

just wanted to authenticate a few bags...the first is one my sister got a while back as a gift, i was looking it over and the stitching on the creed seemed a little off to me (but i could just be paranoid and i'm not too familiar with older bags), also the top right isn't a mirror image of the top left corner (right corner has the edge of another c present that's not on the left)

this next bag my bf got off of bonzale for his sister for hs graduation, he didn't tell me he was doing this other wise i would have authenticated it here first...so hopefully he picked a good one!

tia for all of your help!
