I got this wallet awhile ago, it feels real and all, but I just want to be sure. Some pics are without flash some with...the pattern made the pictures funny. Thanks!

hopefully that will work : )

The best way to judge a wallet is actually by the way it feels. The fakes look OK on the surface but don't have the solidity of the real Coaches, and I've heard of some that make crinkling sounds when you bend them. :s

Usually, if if feels right, it IS right.

Hi Guys I am new, I have a questioin about a coach bag and wallet I received for my birthday. I've been looking to see if I could authenticate it myself, but I am still not sure. It has the Coach price tag, the leather patch inside the bag with the serial number No 10342, the tag has VSG satchel writen in it with a price tag of $388.00. The is Brown material with the CC's on it. and it has leather details. the wallet matched and has coach stamped into the leather lining, but no serial number. I love the bag regardless if its real or not, but I would like to know, Can you Help me out?

p.s Let me know if you need a picture, I can take some

The serial number should have at least four and maybe five more digits too.

After production was switched over to China, sometimes the first few weeks' production would have some minor problems that would have to be worked out. I think this is one of those cases. The stitches are small and tight the way they should be - usually a fake would have longer and much sloppier stitching. AND the edges of the creed patch itself are straight which they never were on early fakes.

I think it's genuine, but it should have gone straight to the outlets or never have been released at all. And you can't compare it to the creed on a briefcase that's 6 years older and made in a different plant AND country. If you're going to compare creeds, compare them on the same type of bag made at approximately the same time and in the same country. In fact I can see at least one good reason why I'd question whether or not the creed on that briefcase was genuine - two if you want to split hairs. Compare apples and apples.

The seller has a good reputation, BTW, but with the improving quality of the fakes I've seen lately even a trusted seller can be fooled.

I am looking at the wallet and mini skinny that is what the flower_gal posted not the keychains. And that wallet and mini skinny look authentic.

The seller's history is a critical factor in figuring out if they sell fakes, especially with wallets. Usually someone who sells fake keychains won't be selling genuine wallets.
