If a COACH bag purchased on Ebay still has the white COACH price tag (price has been cut off) and the style number on the tag matches the style number on the inside of the purse, should you assume it is authentic? Price tag has FS in front of the style number, but there is no FS inside the purse. I know FS means Factory Store. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Never ASSUME. Always get things authenticated if you aren't sure.

FS shouldn't be in the purse, although there may be a bullseye stamp or rivet somewhere on the creed to indicate an outlet item. I can see the bullseye in the picture of the creed from that auction.

This bag is authentic. :tup:

Thanks Kerri. The problem is the bag I received is exactly what was pictured in the auction. It's just that in three places, the stitching is black where it is shown to be white in the Coach website picture. I've looked on eBay and there are bags with both white and black stitching up for sale. Every other aspect of the bag looks authentic, so I'm not sure whether it truly is fake or Coach changed the colour of the stitching??

The seller is sunnydazeboating and has near-perfect feedback. :confused1:

That's the same thing that I was thinking. A friend of mine actually already purchased a wallet from her and we just came from the Coach store and they said it was fake.:tdown: It was her first time shopping at the boutique and they were wonderful. She ended up purchasing a wallet.:tup:
