Thanks Hyacinth! I actually don't think I'm going to sell it right now. It's kind of cute and the leather is nice.. plus it has potential as a clutch. I just wouldnt want to carry around a fake. :yucky: I found another one, larger, probably similar age.. will post pics when I get a chance.

Did Coach ever make fruit slice coin purses with a silver chain? They look like the flower ones with the brass chain and snaphead. I've seen a lemon slice and an apple slice on ebay...they have silver chains and no snaphead...fake??? TIA!

No, they're very real. I think they were about 98 dollars from Coach and sometimes sell for more than that on Ebay - apple, lemon, grapefruit, orange, lime and watermelon :tender:

Ok, didn't hear from anyone, but I got to see the bag. Definite replica....she was good about it. Told her "I'd have to pass". It had CC's on the interior fabric-all over!! The leather on the bottom around the edge was worn, big time! It was a pleather for sure. Oh, well. Guess I'll just use my ol' DB this fall.
