Thanks for adding your opinion to the authenticity question but.. I feel maybe my point was missed.
Of course anything can be faked and the handbag and creed could be perfect, but look at the rest of the clues including some of things I mention.
That is why looking at the seller individually and how they handle returns, or when they give feedback, may be the only clue you may have.

My next point, which I need to drive home, is:

Buying from Coach and selling Coach Handbags is NOT hurting Coach…PERIOD!

Many people do not have a Coach store near them, or are disabled and can’t shop, or maybe they are too busy to go and buy themselves,…… and the BIG difference between them or me buying from Coach is I fortunately have the OPPORTUNITY, and ACCESS, to supply them with what they want and wouldn’t ordinary be able to get.
It makes Coach sell a lot more handbags when sellers of authentic Coach Handbags supply and make it possible to supply these people.

Coach has choice of who they are going to patrol and the buyers of authentic Coach handbags purchased from Coach stores is NOT who they should be targeting.
Time should be spent on banning websites importing illegally from China and pursuing the people we KNOW are selling fakes.

Just remember, the buyers I represent would not have the chance, or the opportunity, to purchase an AUTHENTIC Coach handbag because they don’t have the same access….PERIOD…and those people deserve to have them and its discrimination to say otherwise.

If you get the maintenance page it means the number you're looking for isn't in the system. Try it with a common number like 5659 or 1417.

And it's definitely working OK, I always keep that page open in my browser in case I need to check something.

The details seem to be ok but I'd still like to see the serial number. The stitching on the creed patch looks good though and that's one thing the counterfeiters usually didn't even try to get right on the "older" bags.

Hello, I recently bought this bag (see link). The seller says its a pilot bag. I've asked if it was authentic before and they said it was but when I compared it to the same bag at coach.com, the C's on the bag does not match the direction of the C's on the bag in the coach website

Is it really authentic? Is there a difference between the pilot bags and the non pilot bags? Or does it even matter?:shrugs: It is my first time buying coach and I really don't know if its real.

Anyway, the Optic Satchel looks good too, I don't see any problems.

The C pattern isn't going to be identical on every bag. The only times the pattern would be a problem would be if the C's weren't centered or if the pattern was sideways. Pilot bags should be pretty much the same as the regular production bags unless Coach made small changes before the final release.

The bag in the listing looks genuine.

Authentic and not available in stores anymore...this is from the Optic line. I'm not sure what the original price was, my guess would be somewhere from $250 to $300.
