So, are you thinking that is actually slightly used instead of new? I am more worried about it being authentic I guess than brand new....

Correct. My thought is you could get a good deal on it since she titled it wrong and never put whiskey anywhere, which is the color and is VERY popular. You may or may not be able to get that turnlock fixed and you have to decide if you are ok if it's open all the time.

Hello, Could someone please tell me if this is authentic? I checked it with the drilldown (40243) and the color placement is different. Does that mean anything?

No...color placement, when concerning legacy striped items, doesn't mean anything. they all will be slightly different. (personally, i really like the colors in the one you have posted!)

this is most likely authentic...i heard they were out the outlets recently...ie - an ebay flood is sure to follow.

It definitely looks authentic. I purchased the Mandy in black at an outlet and the turn lock was broken. My husband fixed it very easily but the outlet gave us the little broken piece. If she isn't including it with the bag it may be hard to fix. I can't tell from looking at it but my bag was a final sale and "non fixable" through coach. They put a stamp on the inside of the bag which meant that I bought it as is and couldn't send it to Coach to have it fixed for the 20 bucks....I can't tell from the picture if that is the case for this one....It would be inside the inside pocket. Just FYI....I totally understand ;)
