Could you all look at this ebayer,

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQsassZbizdangoQQsbrsrtZd

She is offering me the Legacy Rose Bag for $259 buy it now. I am ready to jump on it but she says she is having a problem with a purchaser saying that the bag she bought isn't real. The seller swears her things are authentic and says she not only has receipts but can put people in touch with the SA she purchased the bags from. So I need you all to please look at all of her auctions and see if you see anything that looks fake. Any red flags. Thank you so much!

It looks authentic to me. It has the bullseye in the corner so she got it at a coach factory store. If you have time wait and see what others think.

Well I just bought the Rose Legacy. The outlet bullseye (which I hadn't noticed before) did it for me, plus the lady says she has all her receipts and knows the SA's at San Marcos personally. I feel badly for her. It looks like the person giving her grief is from buyers remorse. How can you claim a bag is fake before UPS even delivered it?

Probably just like some people do on here... They buy it and then think about whether it's real or not, and maybe post up pictures on a site like this and someone says "no it's fake." and they get mad or whatnot and contact the seller...

?

IDK just my thought. But maybe they should have waited uintil they actually recieved it and looked it over...?

:roflmfao:

Ya don't buy from her! I am not going to justify this seller but ... there are sellers who take advantage of 1 cent Ebay listing offers or any other offer, by just listing a blank page or a repititive listing and come back with legitimate descriptions and photos. It's sharp thinking for sellers who sell a lot. Anybody who buys an item from a incomplete listing IS stupid!

this whole conversation has me giggling too!:roflmfao:

I know three or four legitimate Coach and LeSportsac sellers who do that because I usually scan the auctions pretty well right after a reduced-fees listing day. But I don't think this seller is one of those. She uses all sorts of misleading keywords in her titles and descriptions, constantly gets the names of the bags wrong, and calls almost every vintage Coach bag a Bonnie Cashin bag. One listing I asked about was for a "Coach Classic Madison Saddle City Basic bag Purse which wasn't a City, Basic, Saddle OR Madison Bag.

She's not pulling up "placecard" listings and re-doing them later, she's just plain deceptive. I've never seen her using generic listings as "placecards". She also deliberately leaves out pictures of the creed or sometimes makes them too blurry to read. I wrote asking for a close-up of the creed for the bag I mentioned in the previous paragraph and never got one - her answers kept stalling and saying things like "i am not home but these bags are authenic" and "I dont really know why you need the number? I mean isnt there a picture????"

She's a real charmer. :cursing:

Hi,
It only has 4 hours to go. I just think that the price is so low & that no one has bid means it must be a fake, but it looks pretty.
Thoughts?

the creed looks off
but PLEASE wait for someone with more knowledge of the leather bags since I know next to nothing on them

also many people wait till the last minute to bid so dont worry about that

I'm just not sure.... but don't rule out a bag because it has no bids. typically they get 'bid up' at the end. Conversely, don't assume it's real because it has a lot of bids either

Marchmama, I wouldn't bid on it.

First of all, it's NOT a Janice's Legacy, it's too small. And not only is the creed "off" as Shay66 said, but the digit in the serial number that's supposed to be the year code is the letter "A" instead of a number. The style number is too illegible to read but it definitely is not a genuine Janice's Legacy which should be # 9950, and I don't think it's even a genuine Coach. The genuine bag, and most Coaches in similar styles, would also have a seam in the center of the bottom panel.

Finzup said "Conversely, don't assume it's real because it has a lot of bids either " - Wow, truer words were never spoken! Some of the worst and most obvious fakes I've ever seen finished with 20 or more bids. P T Barnum was right.

You may want to ask for the serial number and a clearer photo of the creed, but please don't bid on it.
