I would ask for a few more photos before I decided to buy it. It always surprises me how people will put expensive items up for sale with hardly any photos. But that's just me, I'm pretty particular, aka, perfectionistic/OCD;)
I'm sure one of the other more knowledgeable ladies could give you a better point of view. I'm only good at detecting the more obvious fakes.

I do agree with you though - she does have really good feedback. I am hoping this works out for her - especially if SHE got scammed thinking she was buying authentic monkeys at a great price (I'm sure). I wonder where she bought them?!!?

Here's an update on the Monkey Keychain :
Check THIS OUT...the seller of the monkey keychain said she purchased a LOT of them from another seller. Well, I checked into it and found that sellers' auction! They look FAKE to me...this seller has sold a TON of keychains - so easy to fake. Plus, look at the picture in the auction: the monkeys have a hook/clasp on the keyring - not something authentic ones have...right?!!? Hmmmmm???!!!???:confused1:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270120728096
I'm very curious to see what this new seller finds out!!!

Thanks for your input:smile1:. So you're saying your cotton carly also has four rows of C's rather than the three like in the DD pic? Ever other cotton carly (the signature has an additional row of c's) only has three rows and the placement seems to be the same. I am not interested in the auction to bid, it's just the blasted thing is bugging me cause I don't know if it's real or not:confused1:.

I don't have the cotton carly, but rather the khaki. Mine has 5 rows of C's while the one on the website has 4. That one has 4 full rows, while mine has 3 full rows and 2 that are partial C's (top and bottom).

The bees are the wrong color, Coach doesn't use the kind of clip, and the monkeys don't look like they even have pony-hair bodies.

BTW, the person who BOUGHT the lot of fake keychains is selling a fake breast cancer keychain - is "jn1001" the seller who's trying to sell you the monkey? I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from someone who sells fake cancer keychains - that's pretty despicable. :cursing:

These comments from the original seller should have raised a red flag right away - also, her prices are MUCH too low for the keychains to be genuine, especially the Breast Cancer ones - THESE ARE NOT DISCOUNTED BY COACH!!! Anytime you see a cheap Breast Cancer keychain I can guarantee that it's FAKE, and not a penny from it goes to breast cancer research:

Don't just look at a seller's feedback! Look at what they're selling and what they've sold. If their prices look too good to be true, THEY ARE.

Thanks Hyacinth! That's exactly what I did...checked into it thoroughly. I posted all of my correspondence with the seller on this thread - beginning with asking the seller if there was a metal "Coach" hangtag on the keychain. That's when she pulled the auction listing and told me she needed to take the keychains to the Coach Store to get them to verify authenticity...blah, blah, blah. :p That's when I checked into where she purchased the keychains from originally (she tipped me off when she said she got them from another Ebay seller). Anyway....thank you for your expert opinion. I am glad she pulled the auction before anyone bought those sad fake monkeys! :smile1:
