I have MJ bags that have studs like this to prevent return...Typically from rack or off 5th...type discount place so bag cannot be returned for full price at retail store.

Thanks for that!
So the general consensus is that it's real?
I'm just about to hit the 'buy it now' button but I'm scared...this will be my first ever Coach purchase and I'd die if it ended up being a fake.:crybaby:

ETA: except the auction says the hangtag is red, but on the DD it's gold. Looks real, though.

i asked the seller for extra pics of the creed and he was kind of snarky and said that that last pic = creed picture and i was concerned with authenticity, then i "shouldn't bid"....is that an implicit way of saying it's a fake?!
pics are awfully blurry, I'm not willing to make a call on this one.

As far as sellers saying "if you're worried about authenticity, don't bid", authentic sellers get lots of questions about this, I get it all the time and I always reply that it is authentic, but if they have concerns I would rather them not bid, just to protect myself from crap after the fact. My worst fear is a coach newbie buying one of my completely authentic bags and then saying its fake when they have no idea what they're talking about.

Thanks. There are a lot on eBay.

I never think to look it up in the DD because I always think if it's fake it's going to look just like the DD picture?

Do they differ that much- fakes and the DD picture?

And is that upside down? Because I know my Nano has the round at the bottom and square at the top? Shouldn't it be flipped? LOL

no i ve gotten that sentence once in a while... i dont know it looks kinda shiny for a carly demi.. hows his feedback?

98.8% positive (predominantly for selling). most negatives/neutrals are because of a smoke smell. There are two negs from june '06 that say that the item they received isn't authentic but since then on it's been pretty good.

okay so i guess it's probably a fake...hahahah...

ooh good to know! i always felt uncomfortable when i bid from sellers who said this. the items i've received are authentic so far, but the phrase still made me a little odd till now

remember too that sometimes things can change in production from the pic on the dd and the actual produced item. it would be something very very small, but good to know
